-June 24th, 2010-
Isaac led Thea to a random spot on the dance floor, not really caring where either of them danced, as long as they danced together. It was a slow Jazz song, so that made for a slow dance. Isaac put his arms around her waist, while she put his around his neck.
"Is this how you dance with other attractive girls?" Thea teased.
"You're the only girl I want to dance with, Thea." Issac teased back, making Thea place her head on his shoulder.
Joe had pulled out his phone and captured this moment. He was sure that he would show this to his future grandchildren.
"I hope I don't get any too soon." Joe muttered with a fatherly smile.
While these two were sharing a moment, evil and heinous things were taking place in the background, and something bad was about to happen.
A gunman for one of the gangs had sneakily took down the DJ while everyone was distracted. He had a clear shot of Isaac and Thea dancing. The issue is that Thea's back was facing the gunman, meaning to kill Isaac he'd have to kill Thea.
"Sounds like two birds and one stone to me." He said, laughing darkly. He pulled out his handgun and aimed carefully, but in a split second, he had made a mistake. He locked eyes with Isaac and Isaac saw the gun. He knew his intentions.

-Isaac Allen's View-
"Joe!"
*BANG BANG BANG*
I spun around right in time and pushed Thea away so she wouldn't get hit. All three bullets shot into my body. Two into my back and the other in my shoulder. Pain shot through my whole body.
"Gah!" I fell over immediately.
"Isaac!" Thea yelled, trying to help me.
Cops rushed into the building as all the gang members revealed themselves. Knowing that there was no chance of escape, they decided to take a few cops with them. They pretty much had nothing to live for.
A shootout occurred as Joe and another cop ran and grabbed Thea and I, dragging us to the stairwell leading to the second floor. The stairwell was completely safe from the shootout.
"Shits fired! Shots fired! I need an ambulance now!" Joe shouted into his walkie. Thea was crying as she watched me slowly bleed out.
Joe took off the jacket part of my tuxedo and ripped off both of the sleeves. He balled them up into two separate balls and placed one of them onto my gunshot wounds in my back that were very close in proximity to each other, and the other into my shoulder.
"Fuck!" I hissed as Joe applied pressure, this was genuinely the most painful experience I can remember in both lives. This was definitely a life lesson that I'll look back on for the ages.
"Thea, keep your hand on the sleeves and apply this much pressure." Joe said, showing her how to do it.
"Okay." She weakly agreed. Joe then pulled out his pistol and began to give cover fire for his officers. There was no way to get me out of this building for medical attention without the chance of any of us getting shot. So until the police handled this by probably killing all of these damn thugs, then I might bleed out.
I had high hopes that I'd successfully get out of here, but as time lingered, I started to feel the fatigue, my eyes started to close against my will.
"Tate? Don't close your eyes!" Thea desperately called out. I laughed softly.
"Isaac this is serious! Don't laugh."
"I'm sorry, I just love how caring you are." I smiled.
'I might actually die.' I didn't panic, because that wouldn't make anything better. I wanted to fight it, but what was I supposed to do? Plus this isn't the first time I've died. It's like muscle memory, this feeling. That's why I'm not really scared of death anymore.
I had no idea how to use the Star Force right now because I've never used it. I'm certain that the Star Force can save me, because if it couldn't, I'm certain there would be more urgency in it. I don't feel anything.
"You're an idiot." She said with a sad smile.
"I wish we could've gotten to know each other more-"
"Isaac stop, don't say that." She cut me off, not wanting to accept the possibility.
Eventually the police got everything under control. I was rushed into the back of an ambulance, but because of my critical condition, no one except the medical team was allowed in the back.
They tried to stabilize my condition while we road to the hospital, but I could feel it. I felt cold. I couldn't hold it anymore and closed my eyes, not knowing what would happen next.

When I opened my eyes again, I was standing in space. There wasn't a single planet around, only stars littered everywhere. I felt like I was standing on an invisible platform.
What was more striking to me, was that my Mom was standing before me. I was beyond confused, but I had an idea about where I was and what was going on right now.
'I'm inside the Star Force, and it's decided to take on my mom's appearance as a physical form, similar to the Speed Force did with Barry, to make him feel more comfortable when talking with it.'
"That is right Isaac. We went through your memories and found that this person is who you are the most fond of." I nodded understandably.
"Am I dead?" The Star Force smiled and shook their head.
"Dead? No. Dying? Yes." I put my head down in acceptance, but the Star Force walked over and lifted my head up.
"Do not worry Isaac, I will save you. I'll have to use some of my energy to save you."
"I knew that already. But won't using some of this energy push back your recovery?" I asked in concern.
"The amount of energy it'll take to save you isn't that much at all, it shouldn't set us back much."
I hugged the Star Force, grateful that it would go out of its way to save me instead of finding someone else after I died.
"Thank you."
"No need for that." A white light envelope my body as the Star Force backed out of the hug.
"What's happening?"
"You're being awakened. Don't worry, you'll meet me again. Hopefully on better terms." The Star Force remarked with a smile.
"Will you always save me like this?" I asked.
"Every time." It replied in amusement.
"By the way, not everyone likes a smart ass." The Star Force added at the end, making my eyes widen in shock.
'Such profanity from a cosmic being?'

-Thea Queen's View-
I stood outside of the room that Isaac was in. He had just underwent surgery for over 8 hours. Joe was standing with me, waiting for the doctors to tell us the news about his condition.
"He's gonna be okay." Joe comforted. I sadly nodded. I was so anxious that I started to bite my knuckle, a habit I had dropped years ago when I dealt with nervousness.
The doctor had came out of the room, and judging by his expression, it looked like he had some bad news.
"We've managed to stabilize his condition, but he's been induced into a comatose state and we've estimated that it'll take a long time for him to-"
"Doc! I'm hungry!"
We all turned back into the room with wide eyes. Isaac had a silly grin on his face as he looked at our shocked expression. I rushed into the room and embraced him into a deep hug.
"Wow. Somebody missed me-" I cut him off with a kiss. Even I didn't expect me to do that, but it feels right. It's all I wanted to do if he survived.
"That was unexpected, but a welcome surprise." He grinned.
"I can't stand you." I said with my head buried in his good shoulder.
