91. Robin: I Was Careless!

Makino, holding a case of wine, stopped and looked at the approaching Angel with beautiful eyes, her gaze trembling slightly. A smile gradually appeared on her face as she said, "Platinum Angel...it's Rob and his crew!"

At the same time, everyone on the shore recognized the ship. They spoke in surprise, "That ship, is that lord's ship? I read in the newspaper that they came to East Blue, but I didn't expect it to be true!"

"Don't be afraid! This lord is not a pirate, so he won't attack us!"

Quickly, the merchant ship moved aside and gave way to the approaching Platinum Angel.

After a few minutes, the Angel successfully docked. As Makino, who was most familiar with Rob and Robin, walked directly towards the docked Angel, she saw Robin getting off the ship. The two looked at each other and recognized each other instantly.

Robin had a smile on her face as she said, "Sister Makino, long time no see!"

With a gentle smile, Makino replied, "Robin, long time no see!"

After greeting each other, the two chatted for a while. Then Robin introduced Makino to Uta, who disembarked behind her.

After saying hi to both Robin and Uta, Makino looked at the Angel and asked, "Robin, where's your brother?"

Hearing Makino take the initiative to ask about her brother, Robin felt a bit cautious but didn't think too much of it. She casually said, "He's coming!"

At the same time as Robin's voice fell, there was a sound of steady and gentle footsteps. Rob's figure appeared, walking down the ship's ladder. He glanced at Makino, who was standing with Robin and Uta, with a bit of surprise on his face.

Then, with a smile, he approached Makino and said, "Long time no see, Makino! If it weren't for the turban you're wearing, I might not have recognized you!"

Watching Rob and hearing his greeting, Makino had a generous smile on her face. The gentleness in her eyes was as continuous as water, and she tucked the hair blown by the sea wind behind her ear, which was a little messy. Responding to Rob, she said,

"It's really been a long time! Rob-san, it's really great to see you again!"

While speaking, Makino, just like when they parted back then, opened her arms generously, stepped forward, and hugged Rob. 

Facing Makino's warm embrace, Rob was momentarily stunned, but then he lightly hugged her back, patted her on the shoulder, and let go.

After letting go, Rob couldn't help but think to himself, "Makino's... presence is quite something! She's only eighteen, right? Impressive!"

Quickly, under Makino's guidance, the three siblings followed her to Foosha Village. Makino and Rob led the way, while Robin and the curious Uta followed behind. 

Watching Rob and Makino, Robin's expression changed slightly. There was something unusual in her gaze when she looked at Makino.

"Not good! I was careless!" Robin thought helplessly. "When we were in Foosha Village, Oni-chan didn't do much besides training. When exactly did he win Makino's heart?"

During their time in Foosha Village, Robin had always been with Makino for food, lodging, and transportation, rarely separating from her. She was sure that her brother had never been alone with Makino, let alone done anything heroic or romantic.

So, how did Makino fall for him? And she has fallen so deeply that even after many years, she seems to have never given up her feelings for him!

In Robin's eyes, her Oni-chan's charm was infinite, but that was because she saw him through the lens of a loved one. She had her own filter and aura around him. In the eyes of others, his charm definitely shouldn't be that great!

Robin couldn't understand it. She couldn't figure it out. Although she didn't understand these things, Robin knew one thing for sure: her Oni-chan was being hugged by a woman who had feelings for him!
