Chapter 7: Danzo's Gaze and Discovering Tsunade

Outside Konoha, in an unremarkable forest, lay the hidden base of Root, a secretive and feared organization. Few knew its exact location, and even fewer spoke of its existence.

Deep underground, Danzo Shimura sat in his dimly lit office, reading a report from a Root ninja. His single eye scanned the document, his expression unreadable.

"Kamiyo Tetsuya..." he muttered. As the self-proclaimed guardian of Konoha's shadows, Danzo prided himself on being informed of every significant event. The Third Hokage's visit to Tetsuya had not escaped his notice.

"Refining Chakra and learning medical ninjutsu, huh?" Danzo sneered. "A genius among ordinary ninjas, but insignificant against real powerhouses. Without a notable bloodline, his potential is limited."

In the empty room, Danzo declared once more, "Hiruzen, you are old. Konoha's future can only be secured by me!"

The next day, Tetsuya, having received permission from the Third Hokage, arrived at Konoha Hospital. Initially, the head of the hospital thought he was a child causing trouble, but Tetsuya quickly demonstrated his healing skills and presented a letter from the Hokage's office.

Reluctantly convinced, the head allowed Tetsuya to help. Throughout the morning, Tetsuya treated nine ninjas, being careful to show signs of exhaustion to avoid drawing too much attention.

By the end of the morning, Tetsuya had made significant gains. The director of Konoha Hospital, noticing his abilities, approached him.

"Little guy, what's your name?"

"Kamiyo Tetsuya."

The director's eyes widened. "Is your mother Kamiyo Mieko?"

"Yes," Tetsuya replied.

The director's demeanor softened. "Mieko was like a student to me. Her medical ninjutsu was exceptional."

"I didn't know she had such a connection," Tetsuya thought, surprised.

"You are her teacher?" he asked.

The director waved his hand modestly. "Not a teacher, just a mentor for a while. Mieko's only true teacher was Tsunade Hime."

"Tsunade?" Tetsuya's eyes widened. "Does that mean I can call her Grandma Tsunade?"

He quickly dismissed the thought. Tsunade's temper was legendary. She'd likely flatten him for such a familiar term.

On his way home, Tetsuya reflected on his morning's work. "Getting points is more complicated than I thought," he mused. "Stronger ninjas give more rewards. The system isn't easy to exploit. Healing a ninja in stages for multiple rewards doesn't work. There's a two-day cooldown for each patient."

His plans for rapid progress were thwarted, but he was undeterred. "I'll just have to be more strategic," he resolved.

Back home, he reviewed his progress.

Looking at his attribute panel, Tetsuya noted his still lacking skills. The throwing technique he learned from a Genin wasn't impressive. "Kunai and shuriken are more effective than I thought," he realized. "Ninjutsu is used sparingly, but weapons are a constant in low-level fights."

In the courtyard, two wooden dummies stood ready. From ten meters away, Tetsuya focused on the bullseyes on their chests. He held four shuriken, taking a deep breath and concentrating.

"Snapped!" A dry leaf fell, and Tetsuya threw the shuriken with a swift, elegant motion. They all missed.

"Great," he muttered, glancing at the shuriken lodged in the wall. "I have a long way to go."

With a sigh, he turned to his next task. "Time for some hard training."

Despite the setbacks, Tetsuya was determined. He knew that persistence and strategy would eventually lead him to success. Under the deep night sky, he continued his training, preparing for the challenges ahead.
