Chapter 66: Time Management

  "Well said." Sean smiled.

"Don't laugh at me, okay?" Carl walked over to Sean.

Sean stopped smiling and said seriously, "I have already talked to Brother Daryl, and they agreed. We will set off early tomorrow morning."

Karl nodded, "You decide on these matters. Are you going to drive the armored vehicle out?"

"No, the armored vehicle makes too much noise. We're just going to go get some supplies and come back. Hershel has an SUV that's just right."

Carl thought for a moment and said, "Bring enough weapons. There may be other people in the nearby town. You have to be vigilant against them."

"Of course, I'll be wary of anyone," Sean laughed.

Carl nodded, "Do you want to go to Hershel's house with me?"

"It's already dark, why are you looking for them now?"

"Tell Hershel to bring a few more people to learn from him tomorrow. Also, I sweated a lot today, and he has a bathroom there."

"Let's go then. I just need to go say thank you to Hershel."

Carl nodded and walked towards the farm building with Sean.

  "Boom, boom…"

"Who is it?" It was Maggie who opened the door.

"It's us. Sorry to bother you so late." Carl smiled apologetically.

"It's okay, come in. What's wrong? Is there anything?" Maggie smiled and turned sideways.

Carl nodded, "I want to talk to Hershel about something, and if possible, I would like to borrow your bathroom."

"In the bathroom." Maggie frowned slightly. "If it's just you two, it's fine, but if there are too many people..."

Sean laughed and said, "As for Carl, if I want to take a shower, I can just take a bucket of water outside, but Carl's body can't stand the cold water and the autumn night wind."

Maggie's brows relaxed. Normally, no one would want their bathroom to be used by too many outsiders.

But if it's just a child, and a child with a good impression, it's still acceptable.

"My father is still in the study. I'll take you to see him. I don't think he will refuse."

Maggie smiled, closed the door and led the two to the study.

  "Boom, boom…"

  "Who?" Hershel's voice came.

"The father is me," Maggie replied.

  "What's wrong?"

"Carl and Sean are looking for you."

  "come in."

Maggie opened the door and said to Carl and Sean, "You guys go in, I have something else to do."

  Sean smiled and nodded, "Thanks."

Maggie nodded, turned and left, and Carl and Sean walked into the study.

Hershel was still sitting behind the desk, holding a monocle and flipping through a book. When he saw Carl and Sean come in, he put down his glasses and raised his head.

"Good evening, what can I do for you?"

Carl walked into the desk and said, "Herschel, I want to discuss something with you. Didn't we agree that you would teach me medical knowledge every morning? I want to bring some other people to study as well."

"Of course, no problem. Teaching one person is the same as teaching a group." Hershel smiled kindly.

"Thank you." Carl continued, "And I hope I can use your bathroom."

"Of course, please feel free to come, but don't stay too late, or it will disturb my family's rest."

"Thank you, that's all I have to say." Carl nodded again to express his gratitude.

Hershel looked at Sean again, and Sean said, "First of all, thank you for taking care of us. Secondly, we are going out tomorrow. Is there anything you need? I can help you with it."

"Excuse me, I'm going to get my clothes, you guys chat first." Carl said and ran out of the study.

After returning to the camp, getting clothes, saying goodbye to Lori, he went to the small building again.

This time, after knocking on the door, it was Beth who opened it. Beth's hair was wet and she was wearing pajamas. It seemed that she had just taken a shower.

"Carl, Maggie told me she's here. Come on, I'll take you to the bathroom."

"Okay, thank you." Carl followed Beth obediently.

Miss Beth, who had just taken a shower, had a nice scent of shower gel on her body.

When they got to the bathroom, Beth taught Carl how to turn on the water heater and prepared to leave, but she made a joke before leaving.

"Karl, you should be able to take a bath by yourself, right?"

Carl smiled and said, "If I say I can't, will you help me?"

"I'll help you call your mom." Beth rolled her eyes and left the bathroom.

Carl smiled indifferently, put the clean clothes aside first, then took off the holster at his waist. The Apocalypse Eagle, Glock, and Apocalypse Snake were all on it.

Even after taking a bath Carl hadn't thought of leaving them in the camp.

After taking off his clothes, Carl was about to put the dirty clothes in the hamper on the side, but there were already clothes in the hamper.

Carl was not a pervert. Although he knew that the clothes were most likely Beth's, he did not look at them for long and threw the dirty clothes aside casually.

Turning on the water heater and standing under the shower head, the water of moderate temperature flowed from the top of Carl's head through his hair, skin, and into the ground.

Carl narrowed his eyes in satisfaction.

  …

The next day, Sean took Moore and the others out early in the morning, while Carl continued to train his various skills.

In the early morning, just after the light, Carl washed up and started to learn shooting skills. About an hour later, he had breakfast. After breakfast, it was time for Hershel to teach medical skills.

Today, except for Carl, all the women in the team went to Hershel to study.

Because there were too many people, Hershel had to hold the venue on the farm.

During the learning process, Carl could see how many people were serious and which ones were enthusiastic at the beginning but lost interest soon.

The fastest one was Sophia. After all, she was just a child, and she quickly felt bored after the novelty wore off.

Fortunately, although Sophia was not so serious, she had understood something and just sat there obediently without making any trouble.

After that, the other adults also began to lose their patience. Studying medicine was difficult and boring, so it couldn't be that simple. But no one left.

Hershel could see that some people were not suited to studying medicine, but he didn't say anything.

Soon, about two hours passed and Carl took his leave, while the others continued.

Sophia also wanted to leave with Carl, but was persuaded by Carl and Carol.

Carl had to learn horse riding, still taught by Maggie. The class also took more than two hours, and then it was lunch time.

After lunch, it was time for Dale to learn about cars. After more than an hour, when lunch was digested, Carl began to practice using a dagger by himself.

Although Moore hasn't come back yet, Carl still has a lot to learn from what was taught yesterday. Others also started practicing shooting in the afternoon.

But this has little to do with Carl. The whole afternoon is spent on digestion, followed by dinner, and after dinner, he still studies car knowledge to help digestion.

Carl then practiced shooting for a while before going to Hershel's house to take a bath and borrow a book. He then spent half an hour to an hour reading before going to bed.

This was Carl's plan for the whole day.

Not just today, but also in the future.
