The yomigaeri, its cold gaze fixed on Kai, lets out a rasping chuckle, the sound like the rattling of bones.

"Very well, human," it says, its voice low and dangerous. "Let us see what your little powers can do against me."

With a blur of movement, the yomigaeri lunges at Kai, its arm arcing towards his chest.

Kai makes smooth, nearly easy movements as the yomigaeri attacks. He deflects the creature's blow with a single twist of his torso, causing its arm to fly through the air.

Raising his staff high, Kai brings it crashing down on the side of the yomigaeri. The sound of breaking ribs reverberates through the atmosphere during the forceful impact.

The yomigaeri roars in anguish, its eyes burning with a ferocious fury, its body swaying from the force of the strike.
