Captain's Problem (2)

Gilbert couldn't hide his frustration when that opportunity could have earned a point to balance the points. He only wondered about the move.

'Even though I've been friends with him for a long time, I don't know how long he'll make me annoyed when I'm the enemy and happy when I'm the partner.' As another view, Gilbert felt a pang in his chest when he realised fighting Davies was a move he should consider.

His defence was strong and his running was fast, so there was little chance of his foe getting past him. To mask his angry heart, Gilbert simply turned up the corners of his lips.

"I'm not surprised. You're an expert when it comes to speed. But in a 5v5 match, the chances of that are slim. If you push, you could bump into your own partner or your opponent and it would be considered an offence."

"No one cares about that. We're on the dormitory court. What we start, we have to follow the rules." Davies replied rationally because they were not 5v5, but 1v1.
