Jake's POV

"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT GAIUS'S ATTACK?" 

I yelled at Anabelle. She looked at me, her eyes fixated on me,she was scared I picked her heartbeat rate.

"Start talking." I walked closer to her.

She kept moving backwards until she slumped to the chair. I hardly stopped my movement and watched her.

"I…don't…know what you are talking about." She sobbed.

"Is that why you came here?" She looked at me with a hard face.

"That's all you came here to do? to accuse me of something you and I both know that I can't do!!!" She yelled but stopped.

She used her hands to rub her tummy softly so I don't know why I wasn't moved to want to know the child better. It was at this moment that father's used to create a kind of connection between their pup before they are given birth to.

"Hmmn." She moaned painfully.

"How's the baby doing?" I didn't want to push the conversation further.
