The moment felt like an eternity for the cadets. They were completely overwhelmed for three consecutive days under extreme mental pressure. On the third night, the attacks finally stopped after they waited four hours from the last assault launched by the two men.
Johan and Hawk walked out of the tent with light steps and cheerful faces, a stark contrast to the cadets who had dark circles under their eyes. Seeing their superiors walking so cheerfully among them, the cadets internally wanted to throw a few punches to vent the emotions they had bottled up over the past three days.
However, they held back due to the military code of conduct instilled in them throughout the training.
"Alright, everyone form up!" Major Hawk called out.
Despite their accumulated emotions and exhaustion, the 24 cadets forced themselves to stand and gather. Although they looked weary, Major Hawk didn't scold them and allowed them a moment of respite.
