I still have an advantage

The guild hall was a chaotic mess. Debris littered the floor, and the air was thick with the tension of recent battles. I sat with Gadjeel, and Juvia had just returned, looking somewhat satisfied.

"So, Juvia, did your mission go well?" I asked.

"Yes, it went smoothly," she replied.

"And you, Gadjeel? Did you manage to fight powerful people?" I inquired.

"Yes, I fought the Salamander of Fairy Tail. He was pretty strong," Gadjeel said, a hint of excitement in his voice.

"I see," I muttered, thinking about how Natsu was going to beat him in their next encounter.

We spent a few minutes chatting when suddenly Master Jose stormed in, his face twisted with anger.

"The Elemental Four, Gadjeel, and Jade—today, we are going to destroy Fairy Tail! They managed to take back Lucy Heartfilia, but now we will attack them head-on," Jose announced, his voice booming through the hall.

I'll go with them, just in case things go wrong.

At that moment, the guild began to shake and transform into a giant stone golem. The massive construct started moving toward the Fairy Tail guild.

So this is Phantom Lord's trump card. It's even more impressive in person than in the anime.

The golem trudged on for about twenty minutes until it loomed over the Fairy Tail guild.

"Fairy Tail members, deliver Lucy Heartfilia to us, or you all die," Jose demanded from within the golem.

"We will never hand over our comrade to you!" Erza shouted, her armor shifting into a brilliant diamond form.

"So, that's your decision? Activate the Jupiter Cannon," Jose ordered.

A massive cannon emerged, charging with magical energy. After a few seconds, it fired at the Fairy Tail guild, but Erza intervened.

"I won't let you destroy our guild!" she screamed, standing her ground as the blast hit her. Her armor shattered, and she collapsed to the ground, wounded and exhausted.

"I didn't think you'd make it, but we can still fire a few more times. Now bring me Lucy Heartfilia, or in fifteen minutes, the Fairy Tail guild will be nothing but ashes," Jose laughed maniacally.

This scene is just as incredible and dangerous as I remembered.

"Master Jose, I don't think it's a good idea to kill them. Let's just take Lucy and leave them alone," I suggested.

"No, Jade. If we kill them here, we can become the strongest guild," Jose insisted.

"But Master Jose, if we do that, we'll become an underground guild," I argued.

"I'm not worried, Jade. That won't happen," he dismissed my concerns.

"I don't know if what you're saying is true, but anyway, I said I wouldn't participate," I reminded him.

As we talked, the Fairy Tail members infiltrated the golem.

"Instead of arguing with me, I think there are intruders in the golem," I pointed out.

"Shut up, Jade! You're distracting me. Gadjeel, go get Lucy," Jose commanded.

"Yes, I'll go right away," Gadjeel replied, leaving me alone with Jose.

"Do you think the Elemental Four stand a chance against the Fairy Tail members?" I asked.

"Of course. They're all S-rank mages," Jose answered confidently.

"If you say so," I muttered, doubting his assurance. I can't wait to see him lose.

A few minutes later, Gadjeel returned with a struggling Lucy.

"It's okay, Gadjeel. Now we can destroy the Fairy Tail members," Jose said with satisfaction.

"Master Jose, why don't you leave them alone now that we have Lucy?" I pleaded.

"Yes, she's right. Leave the Fairy Tail members alone. They have nothing to do with this," Lucy added, tears streaming down her face.

"No, I certainly won't do that. Keep Lucy safe," Jose instructed as he left.

"Please, let me go," Lucy begged.

"I'm sorry, but we can't do that. But we will get you home safely," I promised.

"You can't try to convince your master not to destroy Fairy Tail?" she asked desperately.

"Shut up now. And you, Jade, stop talking to her," Gadjeel snapped.

"Alright, but it's not cool what you're doing, Gadjeel," I said, sticking my tongue out at him.

"What are you saying, Jade? You want to fight?" Gadjeel challenged.

"No, I don't think this is the time to fight, Gadjeel," I replied.

Our conversation was interrupted by a shout.

"Release her now!" Natsu yelled, charging at Gadjeel and landing a solid punch on his face, sending him flying.

"Natsu, you came," Lucy said, her voice filled with relief.

"Of course. You don't abandon a comrade. And I didn't think I'd see you here again," he said, pointing at me.

"What, there's a problem?" I asked.

He didn't have time to answer as Gadjeel attacked him again.

"So, Gadjeel, do you want help?" I offered.

"No, I don't!" he shouted as he took another punch to the face.

"I guess I'll leave you to it, then," I said, turning away.

"Wait, you're not helping your friend?" Lucy asked, looking shocked.

"No, he can manage. After all, he's strong enough," I said, walking away.

Twenty minutes later, the area where Natsu and Gadjeel had been fighting was completely destroyed. They were still battling fiercely when suddenly, the Fairy Tail members emerged from the golem. A blinding light filled the air, and moments later, the golem was reduced to rubble. I saw Master Jose kneeling before Makarov, defeated.

"It's over now, Jose. Your plan failed, and all the members of your guild have been defeated," Makarov declared.

"You're right, but I still have an advantage," Jose said, a hideous smile spreading across his face.

One last advantage? I wonder what he's talking about. This wasn't in the anime.

"Jade, you can come out of hiding now. I know you can still fight," Jose called out.

He's gone crazy, but just to humor him, I'll go.

I stepped forward, and the Fairy Tail members tensed, ready for a fight.

"Alright, Jade, I want you to kill them all," Jose ordered.

"No, I won't," I stated firmly.

The Fairy Tail members looked surprised, and some even stumbled backward.

"Why are you refusing, Jade? That's an order," Jose demanded.

"I've never agreed with you. I was against this from the beginning, and I haven't changed my mind," I said.

"How dare you defy me!" Jose shouted, concentrating his magic and hurling a ball of darkness at me.

"Do you really think that kind of attack is effective against me? Don't forget that my magic is light," I retorted.

I summoned a ball of light and threw it at his dark attack. My light ball overpowered his darkness and struck Jose, knocking him out cold.

I turned to the Fairy Tail members. "I'm really sorry you had to go through all this," I said, bowing slightly.

"It's not your fault. Jose made you do it, so don't worry," Erza reassured me.

At that moment, members of the Magic Council arrived.

"Stop now," one of them commanded, stepping forward and putting handcuffs on me.
