As I sat across from Elena at the dinner table, I couldn't help but smile. The events of the day seemed to fade away in the warm glow of her presence. Our dinner was simple, but it was perfect because it was just the two of us.

"You're amazing, you know that?" I murmured, tracing a finger along her jawline.

Elena smiled, a blush coloring her cheeks. "You're not so bad yourself."
