Virtya speaks about dissolving the blacksmithing guild

Very early in the morning in the late month of October, Virtya visited the blacksmithing guild, he was here for one last look before he start to think about creating the steam engines.

"Your majesty, this is the furnace that we built according to your design." Nataschenka said to Virtya excitedly.

After all, Virtya had put aside a lot of money for the building of ten additional furnaces but these furnaces would not have a rotary mechanism like the one the factories in Pollow have because there was no where nearby the guild where Virtya could harness the rotary motion.

Therefore, every activity here that would require the service of the rotary mechanism would be done manually until the day that Virtya would decide to install steam engines to aid them.

Anyway, coming to a halt, Virtya could see a huge tower that would be used in the smelting of iron ore to reduce it to stainless steel.

The tower was not yet completed but Virtya was sure that within a week, this tower would be completed and ready to start working.

"It is great that everything that I planned for this guild is coming up the way it is needed." Virtya paused for a moment. He looked around at the group that followed him here and his eyes stopped at Tanya beside him.

"I have good plans for this guild and even Tanya knows that, but anyway, I didn't come here to see the progress of these structures. I am sure that with Nataschenka around, no mistake would be made during my absence."

"His Majesty is so busy nowadays... What great stuff do you want us to fabricate?" Nataschenka asked with a smile

Virtya beckoned to a knight who hurriedly came over with several pieces of papers and drawn on these papers, there was what Virtya wanted Nataschenka to make.

"These are the things that I want you to fabricate." Virtya took the papers from the knight and gave them to Nataschenka.

The things that Virtya wanted Nataschenka to work on was making sanitary wares and these pieces of ceramics would come in different materials and models.

Like the bathtub that Virtya wanted Nataschenka to make came in different designs and the material used.

There were bathtubs that Nataschenka would make from ceramics, while others would be molded from cast iron and porcelain- enameled steel.

Virtya wanted to build these sanitary applicants with different materials so that he could cater for everyone. If anyone could not afford to buy an overly expensive bathtub made of cast iron or porcelain-enameled steel, then they would be forced to look for an affordable one that would be molded from ceramics.

The other thing that Virtya wanted Nataschenka to fabricate were the steel shoes, steel weapons and some household items, cast iron wares and thin cylindrical steel cases for holding ink.

"Your majesty... Our guild building is already overwhelmed and with the few workers that we have, it will be almost impossible to fabricate these new stuffs." The disappointed Nataschenka said with a low voice. Even if she wanted so much to help Virtya, they too were too overwhelmed by the multitude of works that they were supposed to work on, not to mention that the blacksmithing guild was too small for any new mega project.

"Well... Well... Well. Nataschenka, it seems that you can't think outside the box, right? But don't be worried, I have already expected this anomaly to show up one day." Virtya was not suprised, he was only disappointed. He walked for a few more steps forward and stared intently at the tall structure which would be the furnace for smelting iron for steel. His hands were in his pockets as he thought inwardly on what he could do. He smiled and stretched his arms before he chuckled. He folded his hands on his back and as the wind swayed his overcoat, Virtya uttered without looking at the group behind him, his voice was low and oozed confidence.

"I am here Nataschenka. I thank the blacksmiths for their services for all those years back then. You are really helpful and irreplaceable but a time is coming where just anyone out there could make for me what I want as long us they know a few steps of production but that is not necessary because I believe in specialization. Before the end of this year, I will make sure the blacksmiths become replaceable. This occupation will die with the coming of the steam engine, electricity and new technology that will make fabricating metal items easier and faster." Virtya turned around and stared at the dumbstruck Nataschenka. He walked towards her and patted her shoulder before he murmured close to her ear...
