The opening of the cement factory

Up to now, Osip had managed to employed many professional workers and expanded Whiddiff construction company. Right now, this company had a hundred fold more employees as compared to Pollow cement company.

Nadya ignored the guy and guided her horse towards the bridge that connected to Pollow cement factory.

And before she could cross the bridge, the knights stopped her.

"We are sorry to tell you that his majesty has yet to open the factory and before then, no one is allowed to cross the bridge." One of the knight said to Nadya politely. After all, Virtya had thought his knights to be polite at times.

Seeing how polite the knights were, Nadya turned back and joined a crowd that had formed beside the valley.

[What are we waiting for? I came here at four o'clock in the morning and right now, it is almost eight o'clock and they have still not opened the factory for us to buy cement. What are they waiting for? Or is there no cement in there?]

[I hate this! Are they gonna keep us here the entire day? I heard that they are waiting for Virtya to come so that he could open the factory for trade.]

[Fuck Virtya! Just because he built this factory, that doesn't mean that he should be cocky. That bastard should come here and open this thing so that we could go in there and see how this cement is created.]

[Pipe down buddy! You see that knight there, just look at his build. I can assure you that he is a dick. He doesn't have brains and if he heard you maligning king Virtya, then it will not end well with you.]

The crowd was rowdy and noisy and it surged as time goes by but the knights didn't allow the unauthorized people to cross the bridge or go near the construction site of the apartments. Of course, they could not reach the construction site of the glass plant if they didn't cross the bridge.

It was at 9 o'clock in the morning that Virtya and his cohort arrived, the route to the bridge was totally occupied by a large crowd but the knights quickly paved the way for Virtya's carriages to pass.

[It is Virtya. He has finally arrived. I thought that he was not gonna show up.]

[That bastard is finally here. If I had a way, I could have slapped him. How dare he force us to bask in this morning sunshine.]

[Whoooah! It's his majesty king Virtya. I have never seen him, I only used to hear about his tells from the people who come to Whiddiff city. He is so young! I wish to marry him. I am pretty, right?]

Accompanying Virtya were the high tier merchants of Azuhai like Katya, big merchants from Litkesh and the nobles who chose to make an appearance and it was only the duke of Lithao who didn't show up.

Virtya came down from his carriage and when the people saw him, they cheered while uttering his name in jubilation. Virtya waved at them and he walked towards a rope that was tied across the bridge.

In his hand, Virtya was holding a scissor and the knights were all around to ensure his safety. Even an archer would find it difficult to pick on him.

Virtya cut the rope to signify that the cement plant was now opened to the public but only for those who were buying the cement in bulk. The people who wanted to buy a bag or two would have to buy them from the big merchants.
