Crack! Crack! Crack!
"What!"
The enormous black shadow landed heavily on the ground, scattering dirt and dry branches in all directions.
A man standing at the front of the line had no time to dodge and was crushed under the shadow, letting out a cry of pain on the damp earth.
When everyone recovered from their shock, they saw that the enormous black shadow was actually an extremely large grizzly bear, and the man who had just been crushed by it lay still, leaving them unsure if he was alive or dead.
Oooh!
The grizzly bear leapt from the bush with a growl, its red eyes glaring at the more than fifteen humans holding weapons in front of it, and charged at them without any fear.
"Quick! Shoot!"
Seeing the enormous figure of the grizzly bear approaching, Daryl kept retreating while signaling to the others to shoot quickly.
His own position was too close to the grizzly bear, and his survival instincts made him pull some people along with him. Without counting their opinions, no one would want to face the bear's claws.
Bang Bang Bang!
Bang Bang Bang Bang!
Daryl didn't need to say anything more; when everyone saw the grizzly bear approaching, some people instinctively pulled the triggers of their weapons and shot at the bear.
Some people even noticed with keen attention that an arrow was embedded in the grizzly bear's body, which quivered with the bear's movements and eventually fell to the ground.
Oooh!
And the wildly charging grizzly bear plunged into the crowd, striking the nearest person. The one who took the hit flew backward, rolling several times before stabilizing.
Immediately after, it opened its large mouth and bit another man who was too late to flee, lifting its head high and tossing the other man into the air.
Such a fierce scene made some people feel fear unconsciously, but after all, they still had many companions around them, with weapons in their hands. Those who weren't afraid kept shooting at the grizzly bear.
Faced with the high-speed bullets, even the grizzly bear's tough skin wasn't enough to withstand them. The number of bullet holes in its body continued to increase, and the blood kept flowing.
Boom! Boom!
Just as the grizzly bear was fighting with the group, suddenly, there were two gunshots behind Daryl's group.
Immediately afterward, in Daryl's team, one of those carrying an assault rifle was shot in the head, and another was shot in the chest, falling to the ground.
But this sudden change didn't attract much attention because everyone's eyes were focused on the grizzly bear in front of them at that moment, and they were constantly shooting, so no one paid attention to the gunshots coming from behind.
But when the gunfire sounded for the second time and two more riflemen were knocked down, someone finally reacted and shouted, "There are enemies attacking from behind, be careful!"
As soon as these words were spoken, the people who had been focused on dealing with the grizzly bear instantly panicked and ran towards the nearby large tree, afraid of becoming targets.
However, the grizzly bear, which seemed very abnormal, felt the severe pain taking over its body, and its movements began to become erratic.
The situation of attacks from both the front and rear caused the entire group to descend into chaos, and many of the more experienced ones didn't waste time identifying the target.
"Ah!"
"I shouldn't have brought inexperienced idiots, damn fools."
Daryl realized that they were likely targeted by hunters from the camp they had reached, making it very dangerous to move without a plan. "First, let's completely kill the bear and then deal with the enemies!"
Looking at the successive changes happening around him, Daryl's expression was extremely grim, but after many years of hunting experience and more than two years in a world where things always happened alongside Dominic, he quickly gathered the people to stand firm against their enemies.
He had some people defend against the attackers from behind while leading the rest to attack the violently pursuing grizzly bear.
The situation improved quickly, and it seemed that the enemies at the back felt pressured by the threat of the weapons. After a few seconds, they quickly went silent, only shooting when someone tried to approach them.
This abnormal behavior quickly caught the attention of those who cared, and they realized that at some point, they too had good rifles in their hands.
Although the bear attacking them was bleeding all over, it seemed that it couldn't die no matter how many times they shot it.
"Damn it! Someone seems to have drugged this bear!"
But regardless of the grizzly bear's condition, the large bullet wounds in its body and the excessive blood loss made its movements slower.
"Quick! Don't be afraid!"
Noticing this, Daryl ordered everyone to keep shooting.
Oooh!
Bang Bang Bang!
Finally, with the last three shots, the grizzly bear let out a roar of pain, and its large body fell to the ground. But its slightly undulating body showed that it wasn't completely dead, only in a state of dying.
On the other side, a man sat weakly on the snow, cold sweat dripping from his forehead. Many people had died today.
Seeing this, Daryl suddenly felt extremely frustrated. He abruptly stood up from the ground, fired several shots at the grizzly bear, and shouted, "Damn beast!"
Crack!
But at that moment, Daryl suddenly heard the sound of approaching footsteps behind him, which left him stunned because he remembered there shouldn't be anyone behind him.
Immediately after, he saw his companion in front of him showing a terrified expression.
Daryl turned his head almost unconsciously. What he saw was the face of a fierce, furry animal, and behind him was a ferocious tiger.
"What the hell? This feels like a damn jungle!"
Seeing the animal's face and realizing it was a tiger, Daryl's eyes were filled with anger, and his hunter's instincts quickly kicked in.
