Lyra's POV

"The same pack member that you banished," Damien said. At this point, I entered the meeting room and they did not look one bit surprised to see me. It was as if they had known that I had been eavesdropping at the door. But what did I expect? Werewolves had a keen sense of hearing and smell so they must have heard or smelt me.

I was touched that Alpha Alexander was trying to be nice and wanting to help me but I could not forget the fact that he was the one who banished me from the pack. I had forgiven him but there was no way I would allow him to train me. Even though training with Damien would be awkward because of what had happened between us, it was still a better choice.

"Thank you for the help you are providing Alpha," I said using a respectful tone for him. "But I would love to be trained by Alpha Damien. This is my decision"
