Chapter 28

"Henshin!"

[AX FORM]

White fragments gathered around Ace and a black and white form was created. Armor parts surrounded him as they began to fold and attach themselves to Ace. A yellow and black armor with round shoulders is attached to the chest and a red plate is attached to his back. An Axe appeared on his head and unfolded to create yellow eyes. This is Kamen Rider Den-O Ax Form

Tissue papers started raining down around Den-O and he popped his neck

"My Strength has made you cry. Wipe your tears with these."

|As Kamen Rider Den-O. Ace has Superhuman Physical Characteristics and Enhanced senses. His attacks are also energy-based and have a tendency to cause explosions. His main weapon is the DenGasher. It is split into four separator parts. When connected, it can be used in a variety of weapon shapes. It can be used as a Sword, Rod, Ax, and Gun.

While in Ax form, Kintaros is in control. Den-O's strength and durability greatly increase but at the cost of his speed and agility. His fighting style is similar to a sumo wrestler's.|

Everyone watching was shocked. The X-Men have heard of the Kamen Rider before. He has gained popularity protecting New York and posting his activities online. Kitty especially is a fan of his. She is a nerd and likes to hear about superheroes. Kamen Rider was like straight out of a children's TV show. She finds his transformations are dramatic and cool. A lot of children like to watch Kamen Rider's videos just for this. Who would have thought a friend they just made was the Kamen Rider.

"A-A-Ace is the Kamen Rider! And where the hell did all these tissues come from?" Bobby was shocked he knew who he was and never thought they would be the same age.

Kitty's eyes were sparkling. She has seen his transformations on his channel and now she has seen one in front of her. What's more, it is a new form. It is like a dream come true for her.

"Kyaaa! Ace, can I get an autograph from you later!?"

"Ace…" Rogue knew there was something more to Ace and was hiding something, but she never would have guessed he was hiding something like this.

"Who is wiping their tears? You're underestimating me bub." Logan has heard of the Kamen Rider. His friends have talked about him and have files of him in their database. Hank has been trying to figure out his tech but has not had much success. Wolverine never would have thought the kid he was fighting would be him.

"You are a strong warrior Logan-dono. It will be disrespectful if I don't fight you at my full strength."

Kintaros takes the pieces of DenGasher and assembles them into an ax.

"Now, let's continue."

Logan smirks, "You're still going to lose bub."

Back in the control room, The X-Men watching were also shocked. They watched everything from the control and saw Ace's transformation.

"I can't believe Ace is the Kamen Rider." said Kurt, he went to get the teachers but he arrived in time to see Ace henshin.

"Now I know where Ace's confidence comes from. Turns out he is the Rider. No wonder he doesn't need to join our school." said Ororo

"Yes, this is a surprising turn of events, but now it is more crucial we need him to join us." said Xavier more determined

"Is it because of Magneto?" asked Jean

"Yes, if Erik manages to recruit him. He would be even more terrifying to fight against."

"But would he really join him, professor? We know about the Kamen Rider and now we know he is Ace. I don't think he would ever follow Magneto's ideology."

"He doesn't need to follow him, Jean. Erik could force him or he could take his technology. Many people want his armor just like the Iron Man armor, but Ace's doesn't have any protection from the government. They would do any means necessary to get what they want."

"I guess you're right but I still believe Ace won't join us. He is confident with his own power." rebutted Jean

"That is because he is young. At the end of the day, he is only a young man and one person. No matter how much power he has. He won't last long by himself."

Jean can only be silent and look at the screen in worry. Scott was also watching Ace and Logan fight and he thought back to Ace's words.

'The X-Men are heroes, aren't they? Heroes fight because of their belief and sense of justice. If they just blindly follow Xavier, they are not heroes but soldiers.'

Scott thought his words carried weight. He believes in Xavier's dream and listens to his words. If he needed him to fight he would fight and lead the team, but he saw Ace as different. He has seen the Rider's activities. He helps anyone in trouble and this can be seen in his fight with Abomination and many other crimes he has stopped. While the X-Men also help people in trouble, they mostly focus on helping mutants.

"Heroes fight because of their belief and sense of justice huh… You really are something, Ace." Scott muttered and no one noticed

Emma looked at the screen and her eyes were concentrated on Ace. She is now even more interested in him. The Kamen Rider, she has heard of his feats when he first started. As the chairwoman of Frost Internationals, she is also intrigued by his armor. His armor rivals or even surpasses Iron Man's suit. Now she knows who is behind the armor, she is determined to acquire it. Furthermore Ace is also quite the talent. He is a metahuman and could fight toe to toe with Wolverine and she knows how strong he is. Even though she can see Wolverine not going all out. She can see he is taking this fight seriously. She wants Ace to work for her, and his appearance fits her preference. The problem is she can't use her telepathic powers to influence him and this would make her task harder. But this is a challenge she is willing to take. It would only make the reward much sweeter. She smiled cunningly and pondered her next move.

'Just you wait, Ace. I'll make you mine someday.'

Jean looks at Emma and can sense she is up to something. 'What is this woman thinking' she thought

Den-O and Wolverine were duking it out. Kintaros swings his ax at Wolverine, who skillfully blocks it with his claws. In retaliation, Wolverine swipes at Den-O's chest plate, easily slicing through the armor with his adamantium claws. Even Den-O's armor can't stop Wolverine's claws. Den-O knows this but at least he won't be harmed directly.

Den-O swings his ax, sending Wolverine flying into a car. Without giving him time to recover, Den-O swings his ax down at Wolverine's head, but Wolverine dodges, causing the ax to embed in the car. In retaliation, Wolverine kicks Den-O, sending him crashing through a wall.

"You are really tough." said Den-O as he got up.

"You too but you still wouldn't be able to beat me." Wolverine rushes at Den-O and starts clawing at him at quick successions. Den-O tries to block him but he can't respond to all of them. Den-O in his ax form is too slow and not flexible enough to respond to Wolverine.

'We are not getting anywhere. He is too fast for us.' said Ace

"I agree, what do we do?" said Kintaros while still blocking Wolverine's claws.

"We need to switch. Momotaros it is your turn."

'Yosha! I have been waiting for this moment!' Momotaros celebrated. He has been itching for a fight for a long time. Staying on the Denliner has made him dull.

'Eh~ are you sure.' questioned Kintaros

'Trust me, Momotaros is our best option right now.'

'Fine I'll trust you.'

Den-O swings his ax down to the pavement, creating a shockwave that sends debris flying toward Wolverine. He then grapples with him and throws him toward the middle of the street. Wolverine corrects his posture in the air and lands on his feet.

Den-O presses the red button on the driver and swipes using the Rider Pass.

[SWORD FORM]

The ax faceplate disappears and the back and front armor plates exchange. He now has a red chest plate and a peach face plate came down from his head. The face plate unfolded creating red eyes resembling a peach. This is Den-O Sword Form

|In Sword Form Momotaros is in control. In this form, his stats are the most balanced and he fights at close range.|

"Ore Sanjou!"

Wolverine noticed a change in the scent. He suspected Ace might have different personalities due to the drastic difference when he met him. The change in his scent also supported his idea but usually, this doesn't happen. He can't think further on this and needs to focus.

"Who are you?"

"Who cares? All you need to know is I'm going to kick your butt. I'm different from that dumb bear."

Den-O disassembled the DenGasher and reassembled it into a sword with a red blade.

"Let me warn you, from start to finish. I'm always at climax! Ikuze, Ikuze, Ikuze!"

Den-O rushes at Wolverine and attacks with his sword relentlessly. Wolverine dodges and blocks his strikes and he could see Den-O just swinging his sword aggressively like a thug with a steel pipe.

"You're just fighting like a thug. You don't even know proper techniques."

Wolverine swipes at Den-O but he grabs his arms and kicks him making him stumble. Den-O then slashes at his chest multiple times with each attack creating sparks.

"Don't underestimate me. The one thing I know I'm good at is fighting!" Momotaros may fight like a thug but he knows how to handle himself in a fight. He has fought a lot of people more skilled than him but still manages to win.

"Hahaha! This is so fun! It has been a long time since I got to fight like this!"

Den-O continues to attack Wolverine aggressively. He blocks his sword but Den-O still manages to hit Wolverine knocking him back. His healing factor kicked in and healed his injuries like nothing happened.

"It is going to take a lot more than that to defeat me bub." he said while his eyes narrowed.

"Yeah, then let's finish this. Let me show you my Hissatsu attack part 1!"

Den-O swipes the Rider Pass to do the finisher.

[FULL CHARGE]

A red lighting arc connects to the bottom of the sword handle and the blade begins to glow red. Den-O lowers his posture ready to strike and Wolverine does the same. The next strike will settle this fight. The two rush to each other. Den-O swings down his sword while Wolverine lunges his claws. The sword and claws meet creating an explosion.

The X-Men kids covered their eyes from the blast not knowing who won the battle.

"Who won?" asked Evan

"I don't know" Bobby replied

The dust settled and both were lying on the floor hurt. Wolverine gets up however with no visible injuries. He already has healed all of his damages. Den-O however was still lying on the floor.

"It looks like I won bub." said Wolverine smiling down on Den-O.
