Sif's Visit

"Yes," Thor nodded, it was not hard to see that the creature looked physically different, but it was also able to take two hits from Mjolnir, the fact that it could take a single one meant it was far stronger than most beings that Thor had fought. But when you have that plus two spells from Harry then that makes it much more serious, Thor admittedly did not know all of the spells that Harry could do but he did recognize that green light as being the spell that Harry would call the 'killing curse'. If the creature survived that then there was a lot of reason to worry. "it seemed to be Malekith's personal servant."

"Like his bodyguard." Jane commented.

"Exactly," Harry nodded. "it makes sense, take the biggest and the strongest and place him at the leader's side. What happened in here anyway?" Harry asked Frigga.

"I had instructed Padfoot and Jane to hide, I then created an illusion of Jane." Frigga began explaining. "Malekith entered, after a small bit of talk we began fighting, I had gained the upper hand when his creature suddenly came along and grabbed me. Malekith then realized Jane was an illusion and not the real thing, he wanted the Aether. Then Padfoot jumped in and saved me," She paused and smiled at Padfoot who looked as proud as a dog could look. "after that you and my son arrived. You know the rest."

"You know more about the dark elves than most, right?" Harry asked.

"I know more about most things than most," Frigga responded with a small shrug of her shoulders. "why do you ask?" She raised an eyebrow.

"I'm not trying to order you about, but I do believe it could be beneficial to find some books and see if there is perhaps anything else we could learn that might be helpful."

"Hmm," Frigga's face turned thoughtful. "yes, yes that is a good idea." She admitted.

"And then what?" Thor asked.

"When we're ready, we can take the fight to the dark elves." Harry answered.

...

Harry was in his room with Padfoot, Padfoot was on the floor and happily eating the large amount of food that Frigga had arranged for him. Harry on the other hand was lying down on the bed, he was thinking about what had just happened. Firstly the Aether, the fact that this supposedly powerful relic wasn't as gone as the Asgardian's liked to believe was a cause for concern, because it very much sounded like having it in the wrong hands could cause problems for not just Asgard but also Earth and likely any other planets and realms with life.

Another reason to worry was the dark elves, the ones that Odin insisted were dead. Harry would have to try and remember to bring that up the next time Odin pissed him off. The whole situation reminded him a lot of Fudge, and his refusal to admit that Voldemort was back. Though it admittedly made more sense coming from Odin, King of Asgard, when talking about a race that hadn't been seen in thousands of years than it did for Cornelius Fudge, supreme wanker, when discussing a man who was supposedly dead even though nobody alive had actually seen him die. Many Asgardians had also died during the dark elves attack, the previous day Harry had attended the funeral that was held for them. It was a beautiful yet extremely sad event.

One other thing that had Harry's interest was Odin's reaction to his armour, Odin had clearly knew more about his armour than he was willing to let on, a blind person in a dark room on a planet with no access to a sun could see that… you know… if they were still alive. Did that mean that Harry's suit was Asgardian made? Or was it made but someone else that Odin knew? Did he know who wore it before Harry?

Harry was brought out of his thoughts when he heard a knock on the door, he let a small sigh before he stood up and walked over to the door. He opened it to reveal Sif standing in front of him while holding a tray full of food.

"I thought you weren't room service." Harry joked, Sif smiled but Harry noticed an odd twitch in her eye.

"May I come in?" She asked, Harry nodded and stepped aside to let her in. His wand appeared in his hand, just in case. Sif walked past him, either not noticing or simply not commenting on the drawn wand, she placed the tray down just as Harry closed the door.

"So… you look like you're up to something." Harry idly commented.

"That would be because I am," Sif replied as she turned around and walked up to Harry. "I heard that you and your companion saved Queen Frigga." She commented.

"It was more Padfoot than me." Harry admitted, Padfoot paused while eating so he could let out a bark of agreement. "Go back to your eating buddy." Harry said to him and Padfoot did just that, Harry then turned his attention back to Sif. "Me and Thor only arrived after Padfoot had managed to save Frigga."

"Still, all of Asgard is thankful for your help." Sif replied.

"I like our conversations but for some reason I don't think that that is why you are here." Harry responded.

"It is not," Sif admitted.. "I have come back from a meeting with the Allfather."

"What did you talk about?" Harry asked in an interested voice.

"Not much," Sif sighed. "Thor interrupted the meeting, I along with everyone else left so he can talk with the Allfather. When he came out he did not look very happy."

"Odin or Thor?" Harry asked.

"Both," Sif answered, almost immediately. "Thor wants to have a meeting. I will be attending it as well, he wants you to come as well."

"Where is the meeting?"

"Instructions on when and how to get there are in your food." Sif explained. "I can't stay here long or it could attract attention, the Allfather wants you confined to your room." She said before she walked to the door. "I shall see you there." She nodded to him before leaving. Once she was gone Harry walked over to his food, he searched and after a few seconds found a piece of parchment inside a chicken.

"She could have just given it to me." Harry rolled his eyes. "Fucking dramatic people."

"Woof." Padfoot stopped eating to bark at him.

"Alright… fine… I will admit that that is a bit hypocritical."
