Omniscience in Marvel 92

A/N: Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates for so long. I had a bit of a situation with my devices these past few days.

...

Title - Creating Sacred Gears

In a workshop that hummed with the low, rhythmic sound of advanced machinery, Leucadius and Phastos sat facing each other. This workshop was a place where mysticism met cutting-edge technology, a place where science and Magic danced hand in hand.

The air was thick with the smell of ozone and the faint scent of burning metal. Holographic screens floated mid-air, displaying complex equations and intricate diagrams. Tools of every conceivable shape and size were strewn across metal tables, interspersed with ancient relics and futuristic devices.

Leucadius, standing over one of the tables gazed intently at the objects before him. His eyes, a deep, luminous blue, were focused intently on the spear, a crown of thorns, and a few nails

These were no ordinary items; they were the Spear of Longinus, the crown that Yeshua wore, and the nails that pierced his hands and feet while pinning him to the cross.

Next to him, Phastos was adjusting a complex array of sensors and scanners. His hands moved with precision and confidence, his eyes, sharp and discerning, flickered with curiosity and excitement as he worked.

"These…artifacts," Leucadius began, his voice a deep, resonant timbre that seemed to carry the weight of ages, "contains immense power. The Spear of Longinus, used to pierce the side of Yeshua, the crown of thorns that graced his head, and these nails used to pin him to the cross... each holds a fragment of the divine energy from that pivotal moment."

Phastos nodded, his fingers deftly calibrating a holographic interface. "Indeed, Leuca. The energy signatures are unlike anything I've ever encountered. The residual divine essence embedded within these materials... it's extraordinary." He paused, glancing at Leucadius with a thoughtful expression. "But what puzzles me is how you managed to create this."

Leucadius scoffed slightly and shook his head. "I didn't create this. If anything, they are what I'd like to call Innate Treasures."

"Innate Treasures..? Like those of Ta-Lo?" Phastos asked with a raised brow.

"You've been there?" Leucadius asked in mild shock to which Phastos nodded and scoffed with a disdainful smile. "Those fools thought they were all that simply because they were chosen by the Xians. Foolish humans."

Leucadius smiled slightly and didn't ask further, he already knew what happened with the Eternals in Ta-Lo.

Ta-Lo was the Realm the Xians inhabited, but similar to Heaven, it had its own separate dimensions. The more powerful you were, the higher you could reach. But unlike the publicly known Seven Heavens, Ta-Lo had Thirty three Heavens.

Leucadius hadn't been bothered to even ask why they needed that much space since he already knew how mind boggling those guys could be with one supreme venerable claiming one entire Heaven and making everyone within it his subordinate.

Anyways, the minor dimension of Ta-Lo, the one most connected to Earth, opened every ten years, and during these times, fated humans who happened to be around would basically be kidnapped and nurtured for a decade or more, depending on their aptitudes.

It just so happened that the Eternals chased a deviant into this Realm, and instead of the Grandmaster cooperating with them to eliminate the Deviant, he maintained that the deviant was a fated person and would be treated as one of their own.

Of Course, with how superior the Eternals always felt, it resulted in a battle between them, one in which the Eternal were winning until a few masters and the Grandmaster stepped in.

In the end, it was decided that ten years later, the Deviant would leave the dimension and they could act however they desired. Of course, The Eternals were also invited to stay and learn their arts since they were also fated people.

Of the ten Eternals, only Sersi and Sprite showed interest while the rest just went about doing their own things. Phastos, ever the curious individual, happened to have found his place in the library where he learnt a lot of things…the term 'Innate Treasure' being one of them.

"You think these objects became this way due to some form of supreme divine intervention higher than…" Phastos asked while looking at Leucadius pointedly.

"If I want divine artifacts, I have a palace chuck filled with Divinium." Leucadius rolled his eyes at the Eternal. "The reason I brought this to you is so you could find a way to have the humans harness and utilize the energy Within these artifacts without destabilizing the artifacts themselves."

Leucadius reached out, his hand hovering over the crown of thorns. "The key lies in understanding the balance between Faith energy and science, between the spiritual and the material. These artifacts are imbued with more than just divine power; they carry the weight of Belief, of centuries of reverence and devotion."

Phastos adjusted his glasses, a thoughtful frown on his face. "Belief as a form of energy... It's an intriguing concept. But considering that the event of your son only happened recently…"

"That is my point exactly. Belief of Faith Energy simply extends through the Space-time continuum." Leucadius said with an excited smile.

"So these materials…in the future…"

"Exactly."

"Huhuhu." Phastos laughed weirdly, his laugh echoed through the workshop, blending with the hum of machinery and the soft glow of holographic screens. His eyes gleamed with the thrill of discovery.

"Fascinating," Phastos muttered as he returned to his instruments. "If we can quantify and stabilize this new energy, we could revolutionize our understanding of both technology and magic."

Leucadius nodded, "That's all well and good, but I didn't come here for that. I'm trying to leave these artifacts to Humans."

Phastos froze up at Leucadius' words before slowly raising his head to look at him. "What…did you just say?"

"I want these artifacts modified for the Humans." Leucadius replied without a change in his expression. "What? Is that too much for you?" He said tauntingly but Phastos merely rolled his eyes at him.

"Provocation won't work this time Leuca, what's this about?" Phastos asked and seriously faced Leucadius. "Start talking, and I better like what you're about to say."

Leucadius silently looked back at Phastos for a few seconds before sighing. "What's with that suspicious expression? After all I'd done for humans with my son, do you really think I mean them harm?"

"Although it pains me to say this, your thought process scares the hell out of me at times." Phastos shrugged and said sincerely. "You're unfettered, unlike us. We have a mission, you don't. Conveniently, unlike the other Gods, you're the only one with a strong enough connection to Earth. Forgive me for saying this, but adding in your intelligence, nothing you say or do should be looked over as a passing thought."

"That's…I don't know whether to be glad at the compliment or be displeased at the lack of confidence." Leucadius said with a wry smile while shaking his head. "However, I'd like to ask you something…"

"Go ahead."

"The Humans…do you intend for them to be reliant on you guys forever?" Leucadius asked as his smile fell. "You should've realized it, right? Humans…they're special. They adapt faster than most living organisms currently known. You can throw a baby boy into a pack of wolves and it'll grow to be more animalistic than the wolves themselves. Throw him into the sea and if luck is on his side, he could become a child of the sea."

"What are you trying to say?" Phastos asked with a deep voice.

"Humans need a way to protect themselves from the threats of the World outside this planet."

"They're still young, when the time is right, we'll take a seat and watch from the back." Phastos said calmly, but Leucadius only looked at him with pity.

"Are those your words or someone else's?"

"..."

"I am God." Leucadius said with a small smile that caused Phastos to frown a bit. Leucadius didn't pay him any heed and continued. "There are things that I currently know that you can't even fathom."

"That's a dangerous thought, Leucadius." Phastos said in a warning tone only for Leucadius to smile widely.

"I am aware." He said and turned back to the Spear, Crown and Three Nails. "Sacred Gears or Divine Armaments. That's what I intend to call it. It'll appear amongst the Humans they deem worthy to possess them when they are needed."

"The look in your eyes tells me you didn't think this up just recently." Phastos said only for Leucadius to beam. "Of course not. Remember Solomon?"

"Yeah…who on Earth doesn't know of him?" Phastos rolled his eyes at Leucadius before realization struck him. "Impossible…it can't be…did you..?"

Leucadius shrugged. "I demanded that he ask of me whatever it was that he desired and he asked for Wisdom. What could I do other than give it to him in abundance?"

"You-" Phastos rose up from his seat in mild anger but was interrupted by Leucadius. "That wasn't all though, a few capable ones you didn't know about too. But they all had something in common."

Phastos frowned slightly. "What?"

"They were all Spiritually attuned." Leucadius replied. "You've been to Heaven so you know how it's arranged. Not everyone who prays to me is heard by me."

Phastos scoffed but didn't reply. He wasn't much shocked by this. The act of prayer wasn't new to him. He'd had people pray to him for one skill or the other, and while some of those prayers came to him clearly, some didn't.

"The few I gifted a skill or two were those who could reach me directly."

"Then Yeshua."

"Hmm, with my son's sacrifice, I can hear all prayers now…that doesn't mean i'll attend to them though." Leucadius answered, "Anyways, would you be interested in working on this with me?"

"But you've already done this, haven't you?" Phastos asked, confused.

"Hmm, but those were skills." Leucadius said and tapped Phastos work table uploading a couple unique skills into the database. "That's an example of one Unique Skill: Indomitable Will."

Description: A powerful mental and spiritual ability that grants the user exceptional resilience, determination, and fortitude. It allows the bearer to resist and overcome various forms of mental and physical challenges, making them nearly unbreakable in the face of adversity.

Effects:

Mental Resilience:

- The user gains an extraordinary resistance to mind control, telepathy, and other forms of mental manipulation.

- Immune to fear, despair, and other negative psychological effects.

- Able to maintain focus and clarity even in the most chaotic and stressful situations.

Physical Endurance:

- Significantly enhances the user's stamina and endurance, allowing them to perform strenuous activities without tiring easily.

- Reduces the impact of physical pain, allowing the user to push through injuries and fatigue.

- Increased resistance to toxins, diseases, and other physical debilitations.

Willpower Boost:

- Amplifies the user's ability to channel their inner strength, making them more effective in using other skills and abilities that rely on willpower.

- Enhances the effectiveness of inspirational and leadership abilities, allowing the user to rally and motivate allies.

Unyielding Spirit:

- Grants a second wind effect, allowing the user to recover from near-defeat states and continue fighting or performing tasks with renewed vigor.

- Increases the user's ability to resist death or incapacitation, making them extremely difficult to kill or render unconscious.

"What…sorcery is this?" Phastos asked as he glanced at the projections displayed in front of him. The projection has all the information he needed to understand how the skill works on a living being, not only Humans.

Separately, the effects of the Unique Skill could be gained through extensive physical and mental training, however with just that skill, they immediately become the user's to do as he/she pleased.

This was basically saying that-

"Lemme stop you right there. The Universe itself works on the law of equivalent exchange. Nothing is free."

"Then-"

"The user also has to sacrifice a bit of his life force for the initial activation of the skill." Leucadius said with a sad sigh. "That's why it's a failure."

"And Solomon?"

"He was special, he already had access to Magic. Activating his Skill was also done by me so he didn't have to lose anything." Leucadius said offhandedly.

"Why can't you do that for all of humanity then?"

"..." Leucadius just looked at Phastos as though he was looking at an idiot.

"What? You have an infinite supply of energy in Heaven."

"So? I just said I was looking for a way Humans would grow on their own and you're telling me to just snap my finger and help them? Where's the growth there?"

"Oh…"

"Yeah."

"So…these artifacts…"

"They're physical, unlike Skills, exist physically. I already have some skills imbued into them, but there's a need for a vessel. You're going to be helping me turn this into a Sacred Gear."

"Divine Armament."

"Hmm?"

"That's why it'll be called if I'll be helping you." Phastos said and took a deep breath. "So..? When do we start?"
