Omniscience in Marvel 83

Title - Potential of the Universe....

Leucadius POV

Sitting in one of the bigger Central Thrones in The Hall of All-knowing, I couldn't help but marvel as to how this hall so much resembled the hall from that anime Record of Ragnarok.

It was so similar that he immediately got a spectacular idea on an idea on a topic to introduce during this period's gathering?

Think about it…Imagine the concept of Ragnarok is implemented later on in the future of this world?

Argh! That reminds me, I haven't had a proper conversation with Poseidon since awakening in this new world. I wonder if he's similar to his ego from that fractured 'Verse.

Anyways…

"Oi! Psst! Zeus!" I made an effort to intrude on the Olympians private area in the great hall.

I could hear strange voices over there which is quite appalling since I couldn't hear everything. That must be one of Oshtur's spells in action.

That aside, I am pretty sure the bastard could vividly hear me. Zeus is just purposefully ignoring me for whatever reasons.

"What!?" Zeus finally snapped. "Am I supposed to take that as an effort to sneakily have my attention turned to you?!" The Greek Godking asked as his face twitched.

He wasn't gray haired yet which was a good thing since I wonder how I could go against a gray haired Ragnarok Zeus who could surpass the clutches of Time from sheer speed.

"Of course, I tuned it to a certain frequency. Anyone below a certain energy level won't be able to hear it." Leucadius replied smugly and continued. "Anyways, guess what?"

Zeus sighed loud enough that even his children sitting in the same hall heard it and turned to him only to see him rubbing his temples. "What?"

"...You…I asked you to guess, not ask me 'what'" Leucadius said, and from his voice, Zeus could already imagine his deadpan expression while saying this.

"You..!" Zeus' irritated voice rang through the private telepathic link between them and reverberated in their private hall. "Just tell me."

"You know, anyone listening in on this might think I'm the one bothering you like a kid on steroids." Leucadius began. "But you have to understand that this is far from that. As it stands now, I could prosecute your entire pantheon in this meeting for many crimes against humanity."

"You..! Those were not a part of the previous meeting's details." Zeus' angrily shouted back.

"Does it matter when I'm the one prosecuting?" Leucadius asked with a voice dripping with a certain level of authority.

"You wouldn't dare…!" Zeus intoned

"Indeed I wouldn't. Humans living under our assigned territories are at our mercy." Leucadius recited unevenly.

"Then-"

"But that does not mean we can simply watch as those very humans are treated like trash." Leucadius continued with the same time.

"I wouldn't tolerate this humiliation."

"Indeed, and I have no intention of forcing you into that position." Leucadius said ensuring a palpable silence that seemed like a calm before a storm.

"Very well."

"Indeed. Very well." Leucadius said with a smiling tone and asked. "Anyways, want to prove that humans are capable of Divine feats on their own?"

"I thought we've got over this? Humans are worthless and will remain average without one or more Divine intervention." Zeus said in a tired tone.

"Hehehe, is that so?" Leucadius asked with a mysterious smile. "Anyways, I wanted to show you this splendid human…" Leucadius continued as information about Samson flooded Zeus' memory.

"Humph, I bet you played a trick or two into making him that strong. And his hair? Seriously?" Zeus' disdainful voice rang back causing Leucadius to smile mysteriously.

"Then how about a bet?"

"A bet?"

"Hmm. If in the future, a competition between the Gods and Human were to be held with the survival of one party on the line…do not participate." Leucadius said offhandedly said

"Competition between Gods and Humans? Why would I participate in something so lowly?" Zeus asked with an even more disdainful tone.

"Good then. On the off-chance you participate, know that the competition has been lost." Leucadius replied with a relieved tone.

"... What's that supposed to mean?" Zeus asked after a brief pause to Leucadius' reply.

"Hmm? If you do participate, you'd surely win, in that case, I'd be forced to fight for the humans…" Leucadius said and took a short dramatic pause. "...If that were to happen, the humans would win since I'd be on their side."

"Do you think you're that omnipotent?" Zeus angry bellow rang through the link but Leucadius remained unaffected by it.n

"Think whatever you want. Just don't participate."

"You'd rather side with creatures that defile our Majesty while making yourself akin to them..?" Zeus asked with a disbelieving tone.

"Think whatever you want. If you do…"

"Is that a threat?"

"Well then…" Leucadius said while cutting the connection between them.

"This bastard!" Zeus' angry voice rang out into the silence. "Who does he think he is? Some All-powerful deity?"

To his question however, there was only silence on the other side

"Leucadius POV

There's something wrong with this idiot. I only wanted to show him Human's potential as a species and what it would bring about in the long run. Humans were known for their ability to hate and fear things outside of their understanding and control.

Antagonizing them in the short term only to earn their ire wasn't anything grand to write home about in the long term of their pantheon.

Whatever, at least, I'd be able to refute him if he thinks of inaugurating Demi-gods into the council of Godheads…

Hmmm? How do I know about that..? Weird…" to think I'd be muttering to myself at this stage of my worrying…

Oh shit…! Did I just experience a loss of my future memory while gaining accurate future details? That's…interesting. I won't be needing this skill but if my calculations are correct, [Deduction] would be a perfect skill name.

The ability to predict future events from accurate calculation of details of the present and the past.

Damn! How can I just create a skill blueprint by just thinking about it? My Absolute Intelligence must be going haywire it seems. This is a sub-ability under a lot of sub-ability under my [Temporal Magic].

Leucadius' current situation was one of the many ways it could be used, however, different from Leucadius' current future sight where he loses future memories, the [Deduction] skill was harmless and only caused mild headaches to whoever uses it.

"What a waste." I spat in mild anger while the details of the book of Fate flashed through my mind. "Tsk."

The moments of the Banquet went on forever with several Gods bringing up results of mild disputes between them, not worth an effort. A major example was the case of Hades and his wife.

It was weird as fuck.

There were some motherfuckers who accused Heaven of interrupting a lot of their efforts in the spiritual/astral plane when it came to Humans. I didn't need to speak for the court to find that preposterous in the first place.

Heaven never interfered with anything outside of their territory and the entirety of the Gods knew it. Similar to how Leucadius had a lot of eyes watching each pantheon, he was sure he was also under scrutiny.

Leucadius had also never been witnessed leaving for the Earth or sending any inhabitant of Heaven to the physical plane of Earth. And even when he did, he did it boldly and not fearing for observing eyes.

"You should know that I have a hand in the current Human situation…I force myself to close my eyes while making myself believe that it's all for a good future…well learned human race…" Leucadius said softly but his voice managed to calm the noisy hall.

"I don't see how that's a problem." One God, Dagon shouted, eliciting a wave of gasps from the other Gods.

"...You must be Dagon." Leucadius said after a brief pause in which he used to pinpoint the curious God's location. "I've had a bit of interaction with your people."

"Of course, I made sure you remembered me considering your…aloof expression during the first banquet." Dagon, a remnant hybrid between an original angel and an original Mesopotamian God before his flood washed them all away while imprisoning a greater majority.

"I see, and you'll be remembered." Leucadius said and turned away. "Stay away from my people." Saying that, he closed his eyes and asked. 'You be sure to keep a mindful eye on anyone who worships Dagon.' he gave a mental command.

And so, it came to be that till Leucadius' anger was appeased centuries later, the people of Israel and the Philistines would know no peace between them.

A couple Earth years passed and I returned to Heaven from the Omnipotent City. The Council meeting this time took so long to conclude that when I returned, one middle aged man going by Saul was currently acting as King of Israel.

{I believe it's Prince, Sir.} Aspect seemingly replied to my fandom thought. {Welcome back, Sir.}

"It's good to be back." I said and turned to the screen. "What's with that guy acting as King?"

"{He's King Saul, previously thought to be the best fit to be Prince to your people.}" Aspect replied

"Hmm." Aspect couldn't have possibly made a mistake, so I could only attribute it to his misplacement of certain random attributes.

"Hmm, I'll take care of the rest." I said with a small smile and closed my eyes.
