Orion read the message in complete silence. He didn't know what to do at this moment. He felt bad for what had happened to Tracy and, in a way, for Ray too. But that was it; he could only empathize with them. He had no real connection to them, nor had he known them before.
"Why does this trouble never end?"
He sighed heavily and thought it through. Occupying Ray's identity, he had known he might be recognized by some people, but Tracy, of all people, and the fact that she wasn't dead made his situation much more complicated.
He had two options: either ignore Tracy altogether and focus on his tasks at hand, or try to save her.
But could he save her? Did she really need saving? From what he had seen at the Hunter Association, she seemed fine, but was she truly fine? Remembering how she had cried on his shoulder made him think otherwise.
"Damn my luck!"
