Such a Waste

Bel did a little spin in front of the mirror. The dress was indeed a little heavy, but it was a small price to pay to be able to adorn such a beautiful garment.

"It fits better than I expected," her mother commented, walking around Bel as she scrutinized the dress. "A few touches here and there would make it even more perfect, but the length fits well and it looks really good on you."

Bel reluctantly agreed with her mother. The waist of her dress needed to be cinched more, and perhaps the neckline adjusted, but she figured that the neckline would fit better once the waist was tighter.

"It looks really good," Hazel said with a bright smile on her face. "The tint of silver matches with your eyes."
