chapter Eight
Everyone kept on staring at her as we walked and were talking, so proud to come out despite her colour, and for her beauty and waist, I could say she defied Korean beauty standards even, they were taking pictures of her and I noticed she shifted slightly away from me so as to not draw attraction to me and I was so grateful, we reached a photo booth, "Oppa lets take a picture" she dragged me in" "In Korean movies i saw they do wierd faces in here" "You and k movies, let's take one too, are you taking with your cotton candy??" she nodded, "this is so sweet, now that you're in here you could take your face mask and have some " the camera shuttered as I stared at her, I took off my face mask and we did different styles together, "Let's take one more" I said, she put a large hand of cotton candy In her mouth and turned to the camera, then I bent down to her and ate the one in her mouth using the opportunity to kiss her, she didn't move and the camera clicked and caught us, but I still didn't release her, but she didn't push me away either, so I held the back of her head and deepened the kiss, her mouth was sweet coupled with cotton candy, when I finally released her I was expecting her to get angry but instead she said, "You're a sweet kisser" I laughed at her reaction, "This girl knows how to respond in the weirdest way ever" we too the picture out and left, we finally drove back home around 9 in the night and she was sleepy so the moment we arrived she got down while I stayed on top, "I really enjoyed today's Oppa, but I'm sleepy okay so I'll go in first" just as she was about to leave I held her back and kissed her again, my hand holding onto her waist and this time she also responded back which made my heart pound, when I released her she smiled, "Good night Oppa" she left, I finally got down and went in minutes later, they were all waiting for me with glee in their faces, "So.. tell us what happened" Jhope asked, "Didn't you see Jennifer when she returned?" I asked as I sat down, "We did but she was really exhausted, so Hyung leader accompanied her to her room " just after saying that RM came back, "How was your date?" he was obviously gleeful too, "You guys should wipe your smile off your faces and don't think I don't know you're there too" I looked to the door and unsurprising enough, lee dong wook, Lee Joo Gi, Ahn hyoseop and Hwang inyeop came out then they sat down, "hey you can't blame us for wanting to get a gist out of this" he(Ahn hyoseop) said, "Alright sit" they all looked eager to know, "We went to the church" I said and they all looked confused, "Did you go to say marriage vows??" lee Joon Gi joked and we all laughed, "Come on be serious right now" Namjoon said, "She took me to go badminton and then we ate different foods and even convinience food and the arcade was the last place before we came back" I remembered the pictures in my pockets and smiled again, "Badminton, your dream game with your girlfriend how did she know that" Suga asked me and I shook my head, " Anyways it was really fun and the girl can be quite energetic " "But it's all so Normal this girl really far exceeds what I imagined her to be" lee dong wook said, "Let me guess, someone money spender?" Hwang inyeop said, "Yeah I thought that too, that maybe because we have lots of money she'll go shopping and lots of expensive places " Taehyung admitted, "Maybe you should go on a date with her and find out".
A week since I dated Jennifer we already agreed that it will be a week for all of us, one by one a week max, and I had to say I really had the best week with Jennifer it was surprisingly good and comfortable, we not only went out she gave me some pretty good advices and also encouraged me in some things and trained with me, giving me life advices too, and most times she was such a cute child that I had to take care of her instead because she behaved like a child and I loved doting on her, most times she was a badass and a mother all this personality in one body was really great she knew how to make everyone hyper and excited, it was like I was dating a mother, a child, a sister and a life coach all at the same time, sometimes I even felt like I was dating a boy it was funny, even Callista was no exception, she and Lee Joon Gi was like fire and ice and they did quarrel a lot but then they made up almost instantly, we all knew how but didn't say anything, mostly sounds of kissing could be heared around the house, It was the last day of the one week and we all drinking and playing games, only Jennifer and Callista was drinking orange juice, we were doing table sliding with the beer, " Namjoon Oppa, I don't want you doing that" everyone stopped too, "Why?" "Have you forgotten, you're the god of destruction, it will spill instead or worse break" she stood beside him, "But just once let me try it just once" she shrugged ¯\_(ツ)_/¯and he did but spiller the beer breaking the glass Immediately we all laughed at what happened and he also laughed at himself too.
later that night, after the enjoyment and small fun we had we had to go to bed seeing as tomorrow was Sunday, I went to Jennifer's room to spend the last minute with her seeing as it was a few minutes to midnight, she was on her bed looking through a book, she saw me, and smiled, "Oppa,come and see something, is it not beautiful?" she was holding a book about south Korea places to go and saw Naman, "I know this is Namsan its really beautiful at night, I know this from Korean movies" "I'll take you there sometime " I whispered and she smiled, "Sure I'll be waiting " she looked at me and this time took the initiative to kiss me, my heart soared instantly and I deepened the kiss wanting it to never end, she was a great kisser and a perfectionist at french kissing, drawing her more closer, my hand held her hand and the other in her face before the clock striked 12 o clock , and we broke the kiss, ' The magic was over' I thought sadly, "You're a great kisser Oppa and it taste of alcohol but who cares, you're intoxicating, she kissed my forehead my cheek and landed one last one on my lips before looking at me again, "Make sure to sleep very well okay, tuck yourself in well and have a good rest, I'll prepare hangover soup tomorrow for everyone so make sure to have one " I stood up and nodded, then I kissed her forehead, "Good night baby girl" I left her room.
Jungkook's POV
I was sleeping peacefully when I felt someone touching my face and squeezing it "Oppa wake up wake up wake up!" Jennifer, it was her again, I groaned and opened my eyes before yawning, Jennifer was lying beside me on my bed, "You, what are you doing here early this morning?" she smiled, "I want you to wake up I prepared hangover food for everyone and Namjoon helped me do breakfast come and eat, everyone is already awake " she dragged me up and I stood up, before following her to the dinning, everyone face was concorted in an ugly expression, she then passed me a green liquid, "Drink up, it's a hangover juice" Jhope, Namjoon and Jin tried to tell me not to drink it and Jennifer turned to them and glared making them all shut up, "Drink up" I put the glass to my mouth and drank it and I nearly vomitted, it was so bitter like herbs, "Ugh! this is herbs??" I grimaced and stuck out my toungue, "Herbs for hangover my mom taught me about it" I rushed to the fridge and took a bottle of water to wash off the bitterness, "Come and eat breakfast is ready" Jennifer was beside Namjoon and I sat down beside her, "Jungkook, it's you this week, go out on a date with me" I looked at her, "I'm next??" I asked, "He's next?" Jin asked too, she just smiled and drank hot chocolate, in no time we were all eating and laughing, "Jennifer only drank hot chocolate, "Aren't you hungry??" I asked her, "She said she doesn't have appetite to eat, she wants something sweet that's all " Namjoon said, "You can have bread with that" I suggested, "Thank you Oppa but I'm just more into liquid this early morning"
"Jennifer, if you're not that busy, let's uh.. let's go.. o.on a.." "Okay" I was speechless, she just agreed like that? "Okay?" "hm.. we'll go on a date, but I have to chose the place we are going okay, that's my only rule" I smirked, Namjoon stopped eating and looked at her, " only rule huh? that means I can do anything?" I held her hand and Namjoon spitted out the food he was eating, "please refrain from PDA, guys jennifer is dating Jungkook this week" Jimin looked up instantly, "Really?" Jimin and Jhope said at once, she nodded, "Guys I'm bored, should we play a game after this?" "Okay, what do you want to play" "Football!" Callista said, "Yes, let's play football" jennifer also supported, "Okay, I'll support you, don't worry, I'll be there" I pushed her lose hair behind her ear.

Ready! set! fire!!
Namjoon kicked the ball into the net and it scored a shot, "Yahh!!" we cheered for him, Jennifer ran up to him and gave him a water bottle, and for a moment I saw a look of love in his eyes, I smiled, then I went to take my position and a ball was dropped before me, "Oppa fighting!" Jennifer shouted, I took off my shirt and got ready
Ready! set! fire!!
I kicked the first ball, second one, third one, five times,
"Yahh!!" Jennifer rushed to me, with a water bottle and a towel, "After this let's play a round, 6 against 6 huh?" she gave me a water bottle, and used the towel and dabbed at my face while talking, looking around at everyone busy doing something else and no one was looking I bent down and kissed jennifer in the lips and she froze, I winked at her and left to form teams, me and my brothers and the other ones, only Jhope was the referee.
the game was so sweet and fun and I didn't know jennifer and Callista could play, but it was funny especially when they got the ball, they were kinda clumsy and pushing us with their body so they could win, we just allowed them and was laughing, there was no win or losses and in the end we all fell on the grass and laughed,
"This was the best ball game ever" Namjoon said, "I never knew girls could play balls like this" Hwang inyeop teased, "hey, I know you're teasing us, even I know that we were cheating" Callista said, "But at least there's potential, when you're less free you can come I'll teach you "Jin said to jennifer, "Hey are you okay " he asked, and I looked at jennifer immediately, "Just. having. trouble breathing " "She's asthmatic" Callista said , "Cali!! shut up" "How long were you planning to hide it from us!!" Jimin shouted, "Stop shouting okay! it's not a common thing it only activates when I'm exposed to cold, a shot of Ventolin will do the trick, no inhalers " "So when you were exposed to the rain back then it was triggered and all it took was for you to run around for it to start, this won't do someone's needs to carry you to get to it" Jhope said, "I'll do it" Jungkook and RM said together , "I know where it is you guys should stay behind and come after me" Namjoon said and carried jennifer away.
Namjoon's POV
I Carried Jennifer and raced to the house, straight to the bath tub and put her I, switching on the tap, we were both soaked, I went to the cabinet and took out the first aid kit, taking a syringe and a bottle of Ventolin, "Are you Ready?" She looked at me and I hit the shot on her leg, she held her hands on the both side of the tub and bit on her lip because of the pain then she looked at me like she wanted to cry and I kissed her for a few seconds before I released her feeling surprised at my actions but then she kissed me back, holding me close and drawing me Into the water too, I fondled her closely, her kisses were Intoxicating and wet and her hands were everywhere, I pinned her down under me, holding her both hands above her head as I trailed kisses between her neck line, when my fangs elongated and my eye changed I released her immediately, "Wh... What's wrong?" "we can't do this" "We can't or you can't?" "I can't do this Jennifer, I'm sorry, me and you not right now, it won't work" she looked hurt at my word and I cursed inwardly for saying hurtful words and leading her on and just cutting it short, she looked like she wanted to cry, the door opened and the guys came in, "Jennifer are you okay? You're wet" Callista said, they were worried, Jennifer switched off the tap, "Yeah I'm fine, I got the shot" she said, "What happened?" Ahn hyoseop asked, "Nothing happened, nothing at all" I said and looked at Jennifer and she looked away, "Jungkook Oppa, please take me away from here" she stretched her hands towards him and I wanted nothing more than to go to her but I restrained myself, Jungkook carried her out of the tub and she buried her face in him while he left, the rest followed and after a while, I did went to my room and changed, falling on my bed, during lunch time, I came out when everyone was already seated eating and Taehyung made space for me, "Hyung come and seat here" I went to sit and my eyes met with Jennifer for two seconds before she looked away, I sat down opposite her and began to eat, "Oppa have this when you're done let's go okay" that was when I noticed that they were dressed , "Where are you guys going?" I asked, "On a date, Jennifer is choosing the places too" Jungkook said and smiled and put Jennifer's hair in place, she smiled and fed him food from her bowl, then she removed a small stain by his mouth and licked it, i clenched my fist beneath the table in anger but my face was composed, Jin spit his food out, "Hey can you guys not do that in front of me?" "Aigoo, my little boy, see how you wet your lips" jennifer said and removed a stain from Jin's mouth and licked it too, and Jin smiled, "Okay now I'm okay " everyone laughed, "Oppa, I'm done let's go" she stood up first and that's when I saw what she was actually wearing, I could only see a red shirt when she was sitting down but now the shirt was tucked in neatly and was bogus and she wore black jeans which showed her every curves, Jungkook stood up and followed her, "Remember to come home on time since we'll be leaving tonight" Suga said, "Bring something back for me Jennie" Jimin said, "And me too" Jin said, "I'll bring something for you guys okay" she said and left. I don't have much appetite so I ate quickly and left. I entered my room, taking off my shirt,my eyes changed and my wings came out as I changed into a dragon, before I now changed back, completely naked, "Jennifer what have you done to me" I whispered, brandishing my claws I looked at it, "is she angry with me, she didn't talk to me"

I stayed in my room all through the day, feeling tired and just weak, I slept off and woke up around 5 in the evening, my door opened, "Oppa are you free?" it was Callista, "Not really, come in" she came inside and sat in my bed, "How are you catching up" I shrugged, "I'm okay, was just tired" "Don't let her go" she suddenly said, "What do you mean " "Jennifer, it takes a fool to not to see what is happening between you and her " I shifted slightly, "N.. nothing is happening between us " I lied, "I'm not dumb Okay, I'm an African and nothing escapes my eyes, jennifer taught me all the signs okay so I know" "And what do you know then" I smiled, hearing jennifer teaching Callista relationship tips, "I know enough to know that you're in love with Jennifer but you're denying it so bad and hurting both yourself and her" "I can't help it" "And that's why you broke her heart in the bathroom of all places when you guys just had a heated moment??" I opened my mouth, "How did you know?" "Oh please your clothes were on the floor, and you're wet to your legs, your brothers might have an innocent mind but Jennifer and I not so much " "I can't be with her okay " "and why not??" "Because... she makes me vulnerable! she makes me weak, if I be with her the fire within me will consume her and she'll be hurt! I'm a dragon! and she's human, as much as I crave her my love for her survival is stronger than anything! and it makes me angry anytime I see her with my brothers, don't get me wrong, I'm not angry at them, I'm mad at myself, at the fact that I can't be with her!" I stood up and breathed heavily breathing out fire in the process, "You think that as a dragon, your powers will consume her and she burn from your touch " I looked at her, "I didn't want to tell you this because jennifer didn't tell me anything, but I don't want to see you regretting anything in the end, what you chose to do with this information is up to you, don't ever tell her I told you, and if you don't do the right thing then just watch her being taken away by your brothers, they are sweet and all love her after all" I clenched my fist hearing that, " but I can't let her get hurt while waiting for you that's why, so.. the thing is.."
When I saw jennifer alighting Jungkook's bike, my mind couldn't help but think of what Callista told me.
"This world we are living in is a reality jennifer created, well not technically created though, it was a book originally that jennifer Intended to write but suddenly took us here" I laughed,
"So are you saying this isn't real I'm not real and this is a movie or something?"
"I don't know, Jenny hadn't started writing at all before we were brought here, think about it, we suddenly appeared in the woods no bag, no cloth, and we knew you were there? Jennifer only created the characters, you and everyone, and your powers, but nothing else"
Jennifer held Jungkook's hand and came inside talking, they looked to be in a good mood, my mind went back again.
Reality dawning on me, "she didn't intend for all you seven brothers to like her, Infact she was thinking you'd hate us cus of our colors, she only liked you, you were her reason for wanting to make it seem real, she wanted to love you In the book, but you messed up, as for me the person I wanted I got " she got down from the bed, "I don't care what you do to this information but don't tell her and make sure she doesn't get hurt" "Oh and one more thing, even though what's happening she never planned it, the one thing that didn't change was the powers she gave us, she made me to a vampire in the later story, I don't know how that happens but anyways I'm counting on seeing it as well, as for her, she's neutral, nothing affects her, no powers, not even yours"
"Am I supposed to be happy??" "I know my life is real, I can feel it" I thought all this things, "But If I'm real, then what about her?" the Reality was painful, "No matter what I'll make sure she stays with me forever, no way I'm losing her, even if I have to go to Africa and looked for her I will "
I went into my room to get my suitcase when I saw jennifer sitting on my bed, "Oh you're here" I said "I brought a souvenir for you, food also as a peace treaty, for what happened in the bathroom" Hearing that my heart aches, I wanted to say something but she beat me to it, " I accept the fact that it's not possible and I shouldn't have kissed you like that, so sorry" "it's not that, I was scared that if you found out what I really am you'll run away from me " "What are -" I moved closer to her and cut her short, and said, "I'm a dragon and my powers are too much for humans to handle, so whenever I kiss you and touch you, you make me lose my senses and my body becomes hot and my powers rise to the surface" I moved more closer to her, placing my lips on her neck as she shuddered and smelling her hair, my body became hot and my eyes changed, "Just like now" I looked at her and she gasped, "Did I-" "yes you did, but I'm not going to shy away any longer, I want you and I'll have you, either way you're mine" I grabbed the bag, "good thing I was hungry " someone knocked on the door ending the discussion, Ahn hyoseop poked his head in, "Jennie are you done packing, we are leaving in a few minutes" "Uhm.. not yet Oppa, I'll go now, come help me" she left with him and I smiled as the door closed, sniffing in the bag that held her scent I smiled again.
