Kade's red list

It hadn't even been twenty minutes when the ringing of a communicator shattered the silent peace. Kade frowned as he looked at his wrist, the screen blank.

It must be Ah-Jun's communicator.

Kade moved back into the bedroom, glancing at the caller ID. His mood darkened immediately.

After putting the call on silent, he removed the communicator from Ren's wrist, sighing in relief when Ren didn't stir from his deep sleep.

Shutting the door behind him, he finally answered the call.

"Hello."

"Rion! You took ages to answer. I've been looking at the Mecha you sent, and I made a few changes..."

The more excitedly Terim spoke of Mecha, the darker Kade's expression grew.

"It's me. He is asleep."

The call fell silent for a brief minute before a loud voice came through the speaker.

"... Sir! Sorry to disturb you, Sir!"

The shout made Kade's ears ring, but he tried his best to endure it.
