A few days passed and Ezra was finally allowed to leave, and today was the day for Leo's burial.

He got dressed in black and left the house for the first time. The house was one of Wilbur's homes in the city, and he was brought here to rest.

Ezra walked downstairs and headed for the carriage that was outside. The rest of the league were already outside waiting for Ezra.

They hadn't spoken much since the first day he woke up; they asked them to let him rest.

The carriages were sponsored by the academy. There were two, and each one took four people, two facing each other.

Ezra greeted everyone and they got into the carriage. He got into one with Violet, Lisa, and Lucy. Allen and Seth got into the other one with Elizabeth.

As soon as they got on their way, Ezra began talking to them through telepathy. It was something he had gotten using their contract together.
