Kendall didn't refuse. She took Grace's money and leaned back on the leather seat, closing her eyes.

Since Damien left the Parker family, she hadn't gotten much sleep. Now, with Damien in the driver's seat and the gentle hum of the car, sleepiness took over.

Seeing her fatigue, Damien adjusted the air conditioner's temperature and slowed the car's speed. He glanced at Kendall, noticing the slight lines of stress on her face. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of concern.

About twenty minutes later, the black Rolls-Royce stopped in front of the building where the training class was held. As the car came to a complete stop, Kendall opened her eyes, ready to get out.

"Don't you want to sleep a little longer?" Damien looked at her sideways and said in a low voice, "It doesn't matter if you miss one day of Math Olympiad training."
