Ian ignored Robert as there was nothing he wanted from Robert nor was there anything that could be said that could change his mind. Robert was too pushy to easily stop trying to force his way into Scarlet's life even after something like this and Robert would run straight to the guards. 

Ian would prefer for Robert to continue to be the same rude bastard that he was at the party today and based on what Robert said not long ago about being done with Scarlet to then pass her off, he knew exactly what type of man Robert was.

Lockwood was better off with one less man like Robert.
