Adeline hesitantly received the paper from him, her eyes narrowing into a thin line. Caesar was a bit too happy like she'd never seen before.
She flipped through the paper, and as soon as her gaze landed on Dimitri's signature, her pupils blew wide open. "Caesar," she muttered, quickly raising her head to look at him.
"This is…"
Caesar sat down on the mini table, crossing his legs. "Didn't I tell you that I would free you from him?" he asked.
And all the while, Adeline could only glance from the paper to him and back to the paper. It was utterly unbelievable! It seemed so unreal!
How could Dimitri have agreed to sign the divorce paper? She knew who Dimitri was, and he was not at all a simple man. So how? What had Caesar done to him?
Knowing Caesar, she was sure it had to be something beyond what she could imagine. Who knew what he must have put Dimitri through to force him into signing the papers? She didn't even need to ask.
