Nicolai's smile turned into a burst of full-blown laughter when he finished reading Ariana's message. 

"Looks like she has learned some bad words from me," he muttered under his breath. His fingers tapped on the screen as he made a call, but his little wild cat never answered his call. "How heartless." 

[Stop bothering me, Mister De Luca. I have a surgery to attend tomorrow.]

Nicolai exited the messaging app when Ariana did not answer him again. However, instead of pocketing his phone, he hummed a jolly tune before ordering a small gift for his Pallas. 

"Operation snatch that bastard's position," Nicolai pressed the final payment option before muttering, "Starts."
