Chapter 612: Powder_1

Carlo headed to a bedroom, fetching two transparent bottles from a drawer. One contained a liquid and the other a powder. Her eyes twinkled and a mysterious smile played on her lips as she turned towards the kitchen.

"Prepare some fruits and snacks." Seeing Carlo in the kitchen, the staff promptly readied the refreshments to be delivered to the room.

Carlo waved them away: "No need, I'll do it myself."

She carried the tray upstairs, and seeing that the hallway was empty, swiftly hid in a corner. She took out the bottle containing the powder and sprinkled it over the fruits and snacks, then swivelled her hips as she carried them to another room.

"Miss." The maid cleaning the room addressed her upon her entry.

"The guests are about to arrive, everyone can leave now."

The maid bowed her head: "Yes."

Carlo set the fruits and snacks on the coffee table, then went into the inner bedroom which had already been cleaned while the maids were gone.
