Seeing the long expanse of land in my view, along with my Khalasar far below me, where it looked like a swarm of wasps from the height I was at.
Being in the heavens filled me with a glorious feeling, full of serenity and peace that nothing else asked me to give, while at the same time filling my chest with pride and ego. Perhaps this is how the ancient dragon lords must have felt, as they rode their great fire-breathing beasts, at least before destruction and death swallowed them nearly all.
Once I felt satisfied enough, I returned to where I was before, where my blood riders stood along with all my Khalasar silently watching me, as I landed gracefully and serenely. Since I didn't know how to fly well before, once I got used to it, I knew it was almost like running. I just had to decide whether to go faster, slower, left, or right, or whether I wanted to go up or down. It was a rewarding experience.
As I hit the ground, I watched as everyone knelt in front of me, causing my eyebrows to raise a little, and well, I was a little surprised, especially because, from what I remembered of Dothraki culture, was that they detested magic, and I thought that upon seeing me fly, they would act aggressively towards me.
Instead, however, I was greeted by this sight, and well, I was quite pleased to see these imposing warriors kneeling before me.
It was one thing to see it in a series when they prostrated themselves before Daenerys once she burned all the Khal present in the home of the Dosh Khaleen, and while my show of power was also amazing, so was hers not to burn. I might as well accept this, especially as I saw that I was increasingly earning more and more of her 'loyalty'.
Amanda was looking at me with eyes full of awe and fear at the same time, and well, it was understandable, especially since it wasn't every day you saw someone fly, and while I had done more impressive deeds than flying, like building with materials I pulled out of 'nowhere' or making animals appear out of who knows what in her eyes, well, the act of flying could surpass all of those aforementioned.
"Fear not, Amanda; I'm still the same old Khal; only now the Horse God has given me the power to ride the world, starting with the skies," I said to the poor girl, who could faint at any moment.
Determined not to let my act interrupt the affairs of those present, I asked Amanda to translate for me and spoke to my Khalasar; "The God of Horses has given me the power to ride the world, starting with the heavens, so don't be alarmed, go about your business, and remember that today we will have the greatest party any Khalasar has ever had.".
With that, my words hit the mark, as once Amanda said the last word, I watched as everyone went off to do their business; 'yes, faith and religion could work wonders' I thought.
With that done, I set out to do something else I also had in mind, and that was to have wolves in my service, since, even though I understood that I now had the service and loyalty of an entire Khalasar on my side, I still knew that I could afford to be banal, especially in a treacherous world like this where your own shadow could rise and stab you in the back, both figuratively and literally, thinking of the so-called shadow summoners.
So I addressed my blood riders, "Blood of my blood, I am about to do an experiment that could end up being very dangerous, so I ask you to be vigilant and safe."
Making sure they understood, I set about creating a larger iron cage than the one I had made when I brought Maicol into this world, since I did not know the correct size of the wolves I would bring.
But once the cage was ready, and I made sure everything was in good condition, with my guard (blood riders) focused on what I was doing, I decided to summon a wolf.
So, opening the menu and focusing on the egg that was the wolf generator, and feeling a slight tingle in my hand, signifying that I already had the option of spurring a wolf, I closed the menu and looked at the cage.
And carefully aiming inside the cage, I extended my hand towards it and felt an indescribable power spread from the shoulder of my right arm to my hand, at the same time as I saw a wolf appear in the cage.
And what a surprise I got, maybe all of them in fact, since the wolf was big, easily reaching one meter and ninety centimeters tall (6.3 feet).
Not only that, but it was white, along with gray spots and matching black eyes, ears, and muzzle of the same color.
The wolf, despite being in a cage, did not show aggression; it just looked around with curiosity, almost as if it had high intelligence.
In the game, I knew that wolves do not attack players while they are in wild mode. This is because they did not see them as dangerous, and yes, they would attack until they killed him or made him escape if he attacked them. Plus, plus it made it difficult not to die since a wolf was never alone, always in groups of six or eight, so if they attacked one, they would all attack you.
However, I wasn't willing to check to see if the wolf would become aggressive once I attacked it, especially seeing its large row of teeth the size of hamburger sticks.
So approaching him, and being willing to tame him, I advanced carefully so as not to upset or frighten him.
"Are you sure, my Khal?" asked Amanda behind me, and to play by her tone of voice, she was very scared.
Turning to look at her, I could see her concern etched on her face, as well as watch as my guards had their arakh wielded, ready to fight the wolf if it tried to attack me.
"Relax. I'm confident the cage will hold him long enough to kill him if he becomes aggressive, so don't be afraid." I made it clear to the woman, who only nodded but by no means stopped worrying.
'Apparently, she's taken a liking to me,' I thought. But I put those thoughts aside because now I had a wolf to tame—a very big one.
So I concentrated on what I had to do, and pulling a bone from the menu, I held it in my hand.
And just like that, the wolf's demeanor changed completely; it kept alternating its gaze between me and the bone while tilting its big head to one side.
'If it wasn't a wolf nearly six feet tall, it might as well look like a dog with its behavior.' I thought as I looked at the large canine.
Bringing the bone closer to the cage, the wolf sniffed it and then snatched it out of my hands, swallowing it in one bite.
However, I didn't feel that anything had changed, so I gave him another bone, and, seeing that nothing happened, I gave him another and another.
When I had taken the sixth, I felt as if a door in my mind had opened, and as I passed it, I felt the presence of the wolf in it, strong, aggressive with my enemies, docile, loyal and affectionate with me and calculating and closed with strangers, all at the same time.
Opening my eyes, not knowing at what point I had closed them, I saw how the wolf was lying in the cage while looking at me with a loving and tender gaze, if that was possible, of course.
Apart from that, a thick black leather collar now adorned its neck, while the wolf wagged its tail with graceful movements from side to side.
Seeing that I had succeeded, I decided to go on to the next step, and ordering my guards or the other Dothraki who saw what happened not to provoke the wolf, I decided to open the cage, while I moved a little away to give the wolf space to get out.
The wolf, who understood that was now free, came out of the cage with a firm step and fierce eyes, while analyzing his surroundings and growling from time to time at one or another Dothraki that came very close to me.
And when I approached him, his ferocity was immediately exchanged for a heady affection, as he rested his huge head on my chest and licked my arm.
Apparently, I now had a wolf as a companion.
