32. OPENING

Realization seeped into his blood as he stared at her. Now, it dawned upon him. But, confusion laced on his features. She was here in front of him, with no possible trace of her past. How was she here? Where did she go? Was it his hallucination? Was he seeing things? He gulped in fear. Was it a ghost? His own breath came out loud making him hear his own heartbeat. He slowly raised his hand in her direction, lips moved and a raspy word with heavy breath flew out of his out mouth,

"Mahara".

It was so small and heavy at the same time.
