"You look really bothered by something. I can tell there's a lot on your mind. If it's about what happened on the island, then you shouldn't worry anymore. We're both safe, and we're back home."
Mark's eyes slowly relaxed as he gazed up into Arit's sad eyes. The real reason why Mark was so distressed was because of what happened with Fiona, as well as the fact that Salazar was somewhere that Mark couldn't get to him. But Mark also knew that Arit was right. As for right now, there was nothing that Mark could do about both of these things. Until Mark contacts Pat and finds out more about the mission, he won't be able to track Fiona, and Salazar is going to face the law, so there is nothing that Mark can do about that either.
"I miss the days when I was just fighting against random anima while skipping classes. Things were far less complicated back then."
Arit smiled as Mark said this and pressed herself closer to him as her hot breath tickled Mark's ear.
