Sly Old Fox in the Form of a Knight

The herb-picking session began soon after. Arias did everything flawlessly like a gardener who had spent his whole life picking herbs. There was not a single herb that had been wasted during this process.

“This Serpent Spine is about seventy years old? Not bad, not bad. As expected of a faeries’ herb garden.”

Arias admired the herb as he carefully removed it from the ground. Its stem, curvy and snake-like, was made up of short culms that were quite similar to bamboo’s, albeit several times smaller. Each of its leaves was an odd mixture of white with a little bit of green. This was a Serpent Spine, one of the ingredients required to make a Sky-Breaking elixir.
