"It's a good thing that we defeated the zombie horde quickly…" Eldric commented as he confirmed that his fellow elves and the others still had full energy. The new horde brought by escaping Survivors should be easily dealt with.

However, that was only possible if they had enough ammunition.

"We no longer have arrows…" Faelar reported.

"We don't have any more bullets either…" Gene said.

It was the same for the other elves and crossbowmen led by Lady Seraph.

"This will be a close combat then… We have to stand our ground…" Lady Seraph said as she gave the crossbow to others to store it away.

Everyone readied their weapons as the zombies got closer. They were mostly swords, shields, and spears made by Leo.

As expected, the Crypt Crawler Zombies knew that the swamp was a death zone and immediately avoided it.
