In the Rainy Kingdom, Grandmaster Julius and the hooded figure named Matthew continued in their secret meeting. The burning question hung in the air: what had the influential families uncovered in the tomb, driving their swift and determined actions?

In a moment of deep reflection, Grandmaster Julius, showcasing his sharp intellect, began to unveil a piece of history.

"Many years back, before Nino ascended to Deityhood, he served as a general in the Katan Empire. His battlefield prowess led the Katanians to numerous victories. Renowned for his excellence in warfare, Nino was a fearsome presence on the battlefield, demoralizing enemy soldiers whenever he appeared. However, he wasn't alone; there were reportedly 27 individuals who fought alongside him.

Legend has it that these 27 individuals were even more formidable than Nino himself. They accompanied him in his conquests, displaying unwavering loyalty. When Nino vanished from the Katan Empire, the 27 generals disappeared with him, their whereabouts becoming a mystery.

If my deductions hold, the seven great families believe that Nino's legacy, left before his ascension, may be linked to these 27 generals.

"That's absurd! There's no way they could survive all those years inside the tomb," Matthew lamented after delving into the history shared by Grandmaster Julius. "A novice Realm cultivator can live their natural lifespan, while a sage could live for a few thousand years.

"Nino wasn't feared mainly because of his reputation or name. He was feared because of his understanding of the Time Law. With his mastery, he could create a chamber where the time is significantly slowed down. If one stays there, they would be able to live for thousands of years.

I think Nino made something like that and if my deduction is through then the intimate reward is the 27 Dark Generals that wreaked havoc in the world of Venera and Beyond."

"The great families shouldn't have a power of the magnitude. I think you know what would happen if they manage to get that lucky" Grandmaster Julius finished his speech with a grave look on his face.

"If this is true, the consequences will be catastrophic. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about this. We are powerless Julius, All we can do is wait and hope nothing of that nature ever happens." Matthew commented in a defeated tone.

"That's not entirely true. While we might be powerless, others aren't. Since the heads of the Families can't enter the tomb, they'll send their heirs. Why not use your connections to spread this information to the rest of the individuals embarking on this expedition? Two thousand seven hundred young prodigies from across the Human Empire will venture into that tomb in a few months. They won't all be from the Seven Great Families.

"Many will be willing to go against the Great Families if they know of the reward awaiting them. We can leverage the greed in these individuals to disrupt the Great Families," Grandmaster Julius remarked, revealing a darker aspect of his character despite his inherently good nature.

"Be cautious, Julius; the Seven Great Families aren't as simple as you might think," Matthew advised.

After absorbing the second Bloodline essence, Rasoul rose from his Lotus posture and examined the contents of the second storage ring. Lara, the tiger, had given him two storage rings. One was the Supreme ring, and the other was a regular storage ring containing resources to kick-start his cultivation journey. Among the items were a pair of Dark leather armor, sleek and form-fitting, adorned with subtle yet intricate details, providing a mysterious and stealthy appearance, and two double-edged swords with razor-sharp blades, gleaming in polished steel, featuring intricate hilt designs for a balanced and lethal aesthetic...

He swiftly wore the armor, sheathed the swords behind his back, and retrieved a mirror to inspect his appearance. Delighted at the sight of his handsome face, he exclaimed, "Damn, I am drop-dead gorgeous."

[That's all you'll ever be if you don't get off your ass and start training], the System responded, lacking the same enthusiasm as Rasoul.

'Is that jealousy I smell?' Rasoul teased, but the System ignored him as if it knew his mindset.

'Hmm... Good so far, and System, I'll be training for a while, so monitor my performance and body strength as I train. Keep adding Experience (Exp) and Attribute points to help me rise in Ranks. Alert me when I enter the Cultivator Realm.'

[Acknowledged. Good luck, host. You'll need it.]

'Ahh, whatever.'

Rasoul's master plan involved venturing out to enhance his skills as he climbed the ranks. What many deemed impossible, he found to be the only logical method for overall mastery. Despite its arduous and challenging nature, Rasoul believed the rewards would be worthwhile.

With the help of Radar and Seek, Rasoul quickly identified potential threats and effortlessly avoided them. Setting out randomly, he walked, actively searching for potential adversaries.

Meanwhile, at the meeting between Grandmaster Julius and the mysterious figure, a weighty silence settled in the room as the two pondered their next move. A myriad of thoughts raced through their minds as they tried to figure out a safe way to handle the alarming discovery. Informing the royal family seemed risky, as the outcome remained uncertain—they could be silenced for uncovering such a sensitive matter. Entering the tomb was also considered impossible.

In the Earth Empire, each kingdom received 440 passes to the tomb, with the remaining 60 sold to adventurers at a steep price. Some pooled their resources to secure access, choosing a worthy contender to explore the tomb. Grandmaster Julius believed that if these individuals caught wind of a potential legacy waiting inside the tomb, they would stop at nothing to claim it.

Coincidentally, Clay, now known as Rasoul Cole, currently training in the dark forest, was on the verge of crossing paths with an individual holding one of these passes. Fate took the center stage yet again.

Thud... thud... thud.

In the wealthy capital of the Rainy Kingdom, within a mansion adorned with the distinctive P logo—a symbol synonymous with the Pity Family—a young girl engaged in relentless sword practice. Blue hair cascaded down her back, her eyes held a hazy blue allure, and her face exuded an air of mystery. However, the strikes against the training dummy betrayed a lack of focus, as her thoughts seemed to drift far away. While in her reverie, she failed to hear someone calling.

"Celina..." the voice called again.

Celine turned around with her face pointed downwards.

"Horny, what's wrong? You've seemed distant lately. Is that old codger pressuring you about the upcoming expedition again? Tell me, Mommy will help you deal with him."

A charming woman, her features mirroring Celina's elegance, approached with a warm motherly feeling. Her expression radiated affection, creating an atmosphere of genuine connection.

"It's nothing, Mother. I am fine," She spoke with conviction, yet a discerning observer could catch the subtle nuances betraying her lie. In the depths of her striking blue eyes, a glint of suppressed tears could be sensed. She tried hiding it but it is weighing down heavily on her.

After returning from the hunting quest, Celine withdrew into her despondent world. She followed through with what she had vowed to do—she killed Clay. However, despite the confirmation of Clay's death, an ominous sense of danger lingered around her. It wasn't her first experience with taking someone's life, but ending Clay's was undeniably the most challenging.

It wasn't because she harbored any romantic feelings for Clay; rather, it was the way Clay carried himself while consuming the poisoned pancakes. He wore a knowing smile, as if aware of her actions.

Fear gripped Celine, and soon, her fear would reshape her reality.
