Chang'an Village was situated in the centre of Yushan, forming part of the poorer economic isles of villages within the province. The houses were crafted from sturdy bamboo and wood, some overtaken by the unruly vines as a dry Spring embraced the region.

Narrow cobblestone streets stretched through the village with cracks and dents that deemed it unsuitable for caravans and wagons to traverse. The residents, fearful of the ill luck that struck their village, remained confined to their poorly structured abodes.

The food stalls and diminishing markets were only occupied by its vendors as business stalled to a halt. The Spring sun beat down on them, drying out the vegetables and food.
