Leo then flashed a reassuring smile at Elena, signaling that everything was under control. He soon led the three judgment knights into his office.

Looking up, Leo spoke with a smile, "I'm not quite sure how this inquiry works. Honestly, I don't think I appear to be a heretic, do I?"

"Whether you are a heretic or not is not for you to decide!" the knight holding the whip said. 

He raised his hand, and with a flash of light, a transparent orb materialized in his grasp.

"Hold it. The great deities will judge you," the whip-wielding knight declared with conviction.

The other two knights watched Leo intently, their eyes filled with wariness and a cold air. 

They were waiting for his decision; if Leo dared not hold the Genesis Pearl, they would not hesitate to strike him down on the spot.

"No problem, my faith is beyond question!" Leo declared decisively.
