Düssseldorf

"Guys, everyone sits in their usual places.", manager Cathleen said on the small private jet with which we flew to Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf is a city that is near Gelsenkirchen(Schalke) and Dortmund. Many Schalke players lived there as it was the best option. The other option would be Dortmund. But they wouldn't be welcomed there. As for Gelsenkirchen. It was a dark city and pretty small.

"Maxi, you assist me for at least one today, right?", Müller ordered with his usual funny expression. I sat beside him in the plane.

"Of course Thomas. I will send you one, but you will need to make the goal.", I answered him.

I shortly texted Isa saying I will contact her when we land in Düsseldorf. 

Suddenly Alaba smacked my head from behind and said in Bavarian(Austrian, same dialect. We say Austria is Bavarian. Austria says Bavaria is Austrian. Of course only as joke. Bavaria has a better relationship to Austria than to the rest of Germany actually. At least the most part of Bavaria.)

"Phone off Maaaaxxxxxx, we are on an airplane"

Suddenly everyone looked and I quickly put my phone away. 

"damm bastard", I thought. Me and Alaba had a very good relationship. He was pretty much like a brother to me. With Müller being the mother and Neuer the dad. Kimmich was like my twin.

It didn't take long and we arrived at the Düsseldorf airport.

We quickly arrived at their stadium and prepared for the match. 

We played in a 3-5-2 again today.

Soon after we went into the locker room.

We immediately heard Düsseldorfs fans. 

The away locker rooms of most clubs are looking like shit and have low sound isolation to prevent the enemy team from being in perfect preparation.

After everything was ready we walked to the catacombs, where we waited for the referee to start to walk out of the Stadium. After walking into it, it was full. Dusseldorf fans had mostly red jerseys on. These weren't Bayerns, but Düsseldorfs. They had similar jerseys we had. 

Today we played in white and they in red.

We already saw the first pyros of the Düsseldorfer fans. It was in red, but pretty high up.

I already knew this from my previous life and it wasn't my first time in this life.

In the broadcast, it was probably a bit foggy, but down here you could only see the pyro if you looked up. 

Looking at the south, we could see our Bayern fans waving all our flags and supporting us on this away day.

They will probably play with a defensive counterattack while Bayern will try to play possession and attacks on the wing with their strong midfield and wings."

"Goaaaaalllllllll in Düsseldorf", a scream was broadcasted.

"Then lets switch to Düsseldorf", the commentator said goodbye.

The scene switches and we can see people in red celebrating.

"Düsseldorf with the unexpected lead."

"Lets see the replay"

"Bayern with the corner kick. Düsseldorfs Center back Bormuths clears the ball with a pass to winger Zimmer is sprinting with Usami, the other winger and striker Lukebakio to Bayerns goal. The two Bayern defenders have no chance and lost after a few passes from the Düsseldorfers. Meyer tried to catch up, but came a bit too late. They easily shot the ball past Neuer and scored the 1:0."

"This is unexpected, but let us get back to Berlin.(Hertha)"

"Frankfurt easily defend this counterattack from Augsburg", shortly before the commentator wanted to say another sentence he was interrupted by a scream.

"Goaaaaaalllllllllll in Düsseldorf"

The scene switches again and we notice a few people arguing with the referee.

"The VAR is intervening right now to check if Düsseldorfs goal was offside or not. Bayern who pressed their whole team to attack encountered another counterattack. This goal will probably be the end for Bayern in this match. A 2:0 in the 74th minute is hard to equalize."

"Lets look at how this goal was created while the people in Cologne(place where the VAR in Germany is located) draw the lines. Bayern are pressing and have most of their people on the frontcourt, but lost the ball due to a passing mistake. After that it was a quick counterattack by Düsseldorf. Shortly before Neuer, Lukebakio, their striker laid the ball sideways for their winger. Besides them was Hummels. Now we need to check if Hummels canceled the offside."

The VAR seems to have made a decision. 

"Goal"

"This will be hard to equalize for Bayern. Meyer and Kimmich immediately rush to the referee to protest, but to no avail"

"Let us switch back to Augsburg"

"This is the end of this game. The favorites Bayern lost 2:0 against 17th place Düsseldorf."

This match was a tragedy for us. Kovac screamed at everyone of us for not doing anything good in that game.

We were all criticised by the Media later for playing horrible. 

We had anger in our stomach.

With this anger we soon played against Benfica in Munich.
