Ian hadn't been himself ever since he found out that Lola was now working at GXL Telecommunications.

Before that information, He had been busy strategizing on ways to win Lola's heart back and plead with her to come back to work. He had already finalized plans to make her the new marketing director of his company with triple her initial earnings. He had also sent her an email to that effect. He was awaiting her reply when he got a call from his dad, informing him of Lola's recent employment at GXL Telecoms.

Ian couldn't understand why Richmond was all about his business even after he clearly made known his intentions to settle down with Lola. He could tell that Richmond was still mad at him for the death of Lizzy. But going after Lola was simply unacceptable.
