Surprise For Skyla

The next morning Skyla woke up in bed. The headache was gone and unexpectedly she had slept peacefully.

She didn't have any clothes so she decided to call Huria, fill her in and borrow some from her.

Huria picked up on the fourth bell. It was Sunday and she was still sleeping.

"Hello!" She answered sleepily.

"Hey! Sorry I disturbed you so early in the morning. But it was urgent." Skyla was apologetic.

"Sky? Is everything alright? You don't have to apologise. What is it?" Huria was suddenly fully awake now.

"Umm, I left my house after a fight with Doran. I have been over at Mr Zyair's place since last night."

"Holy Heavens, Sky. Are you alright? Did he hurt you again?" Huria jumped out of her bed, too outrageous.

"Just emotionally. He tore Cuddles and broke my pin." She felt miserable again, the reminder of her beloved pin panged at her heart in the worst possible ways.
