"Things have changed a lot with the little one," Ming Ye exhaled loudly as he leaned back into his chair, looking at the ceiling of the hall. His eyes were filled with tiredness and heaviness from everything he had witnessed in his life.
"Mhmm, she changed a lot," Xin Yan, sitting opposite the man, replied in a lost tone. Even though she was talking to the old man, she seemed a little lost.
'Just what happened in that place?' She wondered while twirling the cup of tea in her hands.
"Even though she never said it out loud, I could see how much she felt that the world was trapping her," Xin Yan could hear the heaviness in his voice as he heard her words. "I was always scared she might take some drastic step because of what happened."
"She has suffered a lot," Xin Yan replied with a sad smile on her face. "We should be happy that she made up her mind."
