Wanda's jaw tightens, but she doesn't turn to face him. She stares ahead, her eyes unfocused, her hands trembling with the strain of keeping her power in check. "Go away," she mutters, her voice brittle, almost broken. But Henry steps closer, undeterred, the golden nanites swirling around him in a mesmerizing dance. His presence is overwhelming, as if the very air is bowing to his will. He leans in slightly, his tone dropping to a whisper, just inches from her ear. "But you don't really want me to leave, do you?" His breath is cold against her skin. "You want answers. You deserve them." His voice is a caress, but each word digs into her like a dagger. "Vision… your brother… even your parents. They're all gone because you weren't strong enough to save them. Every time you've reached out for happiness, it's been ripped away from you. And do you know why, Wanda? Because you were never meant to have it. Not joy, not peace. That's not your fate." He steps around her, circling her like a predator stalking its prey, his golden suit glinting ominously in the twilight.

Chapter 145

Wanda closes her eyes, fighting back the tears. Her chest tightens with the weight of his words, her breath shallow and rapid. The red energy crackles at her fingertips, but it's unfocused, weak. She's losing control, and she knows it. Henry's lips curl into a smile as he watches her struggle, feeding off her pain. He can see her breaking, just as he intended.

"You have the power, Wanda," he continues, his voice slipping into her thoughts like a whisper carried on the wind. "The power to stop all of this suffering. All the loss, all the pain—you can end it. All of it." He steps in front of her now, his dark eyes boring into hers. "All it takes is one word. One thought. You could wipe away this world, this cruel, broken reality, and rebuild it into something beautiful. Something perfect." His voice lowers, dripping with dark promise. "Or... you could erase it all. No more suffering. No more life. Just... peace."

Wanda's breath hitches, her body trembling. The thought plants itself in her mind, taking root, spreading like a virus. Could she? Could she end all the pain, all the heartbreak, with just a thought? Her mind reels, torn between the unbearable weight of her grief and the terrifying allure of what Henry is offering. The red glow around her hands grows brighter, more violent, the air around them shimmering with raw energy. She clenches her fists, her eyes glowing with power, and whispers, "No more..."

Henry watches her, his eyes gleaming with triumph. He steps back, allowing her the space to act, knowing that she's teetering on the edge. "That's it," he murmurs, his voice barely audible over the rising hum of her magic. "Just one more step, Wanda. One more word, and it will all be over. No more pain. No more loss. Just... no more life."

Wanda's heart pounds in her chest, her mind spinning. She can feel the power surging inside her, threatening to tear her apart. The world around her blurs, the ground beneath her feet trembling as the very fabric of reality begins to unravel. Tears spill down her cheeks, but her eyes remain fixed on the void before her, her voice barely a whisper as she utters the final words: "No more life."

In an instant, the world explodes into silence. The pulse of energy that erupts from Wanda is blinding, a wave of pure, destructive force that ripples outwards, erasing everything in its path. The stars above blink out, the trees around them disintegrate into dust, and the very ground beneath them begins to fade away, consumed by the unstoppable tide of nothingness. Time itself bends and shatters, unraveling like a frayed thread, as reality collapses in on itself.

Henry steps back, his golden suit shimmering with the power of the eternal nanites, unaffected by the chaos unfolding around him. He smiles, satisfied. He has won. Wanda has done it. She has erased everything. Wanda falls to her knees, her breath ragged, her body trembling with the aftermath of what she's just done. The world around her is gone, and nothing but an empty void remains. She stares ahead, her eyes vacant, her heart hollow. Everything... is gone. Vision. Her family. The Avengers. The entire universe. All erased with a single thought.

Henry watches her for a moment longer, his eyes gleaming with dark satisfaction. "It's done," he whispers, his voice carrying through the empty void. "You've freed yourself, Wanda. Now you'll never have to suffer again." With that, leaving Wanda alone in the nothingness she has created, but just as he was about to step out of time, Wanda's hand reached for him, stopping him. He turned around just to see Wanda's teary eyes, but behind those eyes was something else, something—a seed that had taken root inside Wanda's heart and soul—as she smiled at him, "Where are you going? You are not abandoning me as well, are you?" And in that moment, Henry felt what it was like to face something dangerous. "Of course not, I am not so heartless," Henry said with a smile as the two of them hugged, with Wanda smiling so wide that her mouth looked supernatural with eyes full of heart.

[Some time later]

In Kamar Taj, Henry and Wanda could be seen floating above a large shield as below, sorcerers tried to bolster the defense, while Strange and Wong tried to coordinate the best strategy. Beside them was America Chavez. "Well, Wanda, it's your turn. Lay waste to them," Henry said with a nonchalant smile. Why was he doing this? Well, it was quite simple. He wanted all the upcoming events to have their bad endings instead of the good ones. "And that motherfucker still hasn't appeared. I swear if he doesn't appear before my main body wakes up, I will scorch this ball of dirt into smithereens," he complained to himself as he looked at Wanda, who had the Darkhold.

Kamar Taj, a sanctuary of ancient magic, stood tall against the twilight sky, its shield shimmering with ethereal light. Within its walls, sorcerers hurriedly cast wards and bolstered defenses, their faces etched with grim determination. The air was thick with tension, a palpable sense of dread hanging over the fortress. But nothing could prepare them for what was to come.

High above, floating effortlessly in the air, Henry and Wanda loomed like harbingers of doom. Wanda, clutching the Darkhold in her hands, her once scarlet magic now tainted black, crackled with dark energy. Her eyes were filled with fury and grief, her smile twisted and unnatural, as the corruptive power of the Darkhold surged through her veins. Beside her, Henry watched with cold amusement, his golden suit glistening as the nanites swirled like liquid around him, his gaze locked onto the scene below.

"They're afraid," Henry mused, his voice calm but laced with malicious intent. "Good. Fear makes them weak."

Wanda said nothing, her eyes narrowing as she focused on the sorcerers below, her magic swirling violently around her. The shield that protected Kamar Taj flickered, the combined efforts of the sorcerers struggling to hold back the inevitable.

"Let them fall," Henry said softly, his smile growing as he gestured towards the shield. "Break them, Wanda."

With a whisper of incantations from the Darkhold, Wanda raised her hands, her fingers twisting into the air as black tendrils of dark magic shot forth. The tendrils lashed out, striking the shield with the force of a sledgehammer, sending ripples through the protective barrier. The sorcerers below gasped, some faltering as they struggled to maintain the spell. The dark magic pulsed against the shield, eating away at it like acid on glass, corroding the very fabric of the magic that held it together.

With a final, deafening crack, the shield shattered, shards of ethereal light raining down like broken glass. The sorcerers scrambled, trying to regroup, but it was too late.

Wanda descended upon them like a storm.

Her magic erupted in a chaotic wave, blackened energy tearing through the air like a ravenous beast. The first line of sorcerers was disintegrated where they stood, their bodies reduced to ash in an instant, their screams cut short as their very essence was consumed by the Darkhold's power. The ground beneath them cracked and split, dark tendrils surging upward, wrapping around the remaining sorcerers, dragging them down into the earth, where they were crushed with sickening force, bones splintering under the pressure.
