New Journey!

"Sir Kaen, can you explain how you defeated Sir Velar? We weren't able to follow what transpired in the ring. I was able to follow somewhat, however, from here, everything was too blurry!"

"A-Actually, I also wasn't able to see what he did. He vanished, then appeared in front of me, then once again disappeared. I was terrified at the thought of dying the next moment, but when I turned to see behind me, his head was detached from his body. I believe his technique backfired or his mana got rampant inside his body," Kaen answered, shivering from fear.

Upon listening to the answer and witnessing the kid's condition, the respect for him quickly disappeared from the nobles' eyes as everyone nodded in understanding, finding the reason reasonable.

They had thought maybe he was able to follow Velar's attack and had beheaded him, but since that wasn't the case, there was no reason to give too much importance to him.

"Kid, although it was by luck, you have defeated a ranker. Therefore, you will also be a ranker from now on. Though you have defeated Velar Jon, who was ranked 66th, you will be given the last 100th rank as this was not an official rank match. Nonetheless, you will be the youngest ranker in the world.

Your name will be known throughout the seven empires. I would have to report this to the Ranker's Association, so I would need your details, and I will also have to share the details of how you won. Is that alright?" The clever noble questioned.

I'll be the lowest ranking ranker, however, no one will challenge me since I defeated Velar Jon, a 66th ranked ranker.

Someone stronger than Velar Jon won't be interested in the lowest rank.

Kaen thought before answering, "Yes, that is alright with me." He turned towards Count Nadino before requesting, "Sir, I believe you will take care of the formalities here. I will take my leave now."

Kaen left with his reward, going in the direction of his house. He didn't need to wait for the count since he could travel faster with the help of the lightning elemental. He planned to spend some time with his mother before leaving to start his journey of stopping the demons.

As he was traversing the road, Demios voice began to talk directly inside his head:

"Hey Kaen, I've been wondering, why are you not training your magic? You should already remember the technique of creating magic circles from your past life, right?"

To his question, Kaen also answered telepathically: "It's because I'm waiting... waiting to get a dragon heart to transplant into my body!"

"Oh... So that became your plan to become more powerful in this life!"

Kaen nodded: "Yeah, since I discovered about dragon heart transplantation and its method in the later stage of my life, I wasn't able to make use of it, however, in this life, I'll surely get a dragon heart!"

"Right, only someone who had never practiced magic can have a dragon heart transplanted in their body..." Demios affirmed.

"So tell me, what do you plan to do ahead?" Demios inquired.

"I will recruit the first member for my secret organization, who is also a great sorceress. The one capable of transplanting the Dragon's heart into my body - Grand Sorceress Etheria Reinsta!" Kaen answered.

"That's a good plan, but wouldn't she just be a kid with 4th-rank magic right now? She should be around 19, and I don't think she'll be able to conduct that surgery of transplanting a dragon's heart into your body," Demios muttered, confused by his choice.

"Since I know she will be a grand sorceress in the future, I can teach her the surgery process. She must have that much talent. Also, since she is just a kid right now, I will be able to persuade her easily into submitting to me," Kaen explained with a grin across his face.

"Alright, this seems alright to me. You can go ahead with this plan; I give you my permission," Demios announced with a proud look.

"Thank you for your permission!"

Upon reaching his house, Kaen spent the rest of the day with his mother before beginning his aura training again from the next day.

He needed to atleast reach 5-star before he could even dream of forming a secret organization and no one would agree to follow someone weaker than them.

Even with all his past life combat experience, if he was weak, he would never be able to help anyone.

Two months later ——

A large amount of mana gushed out of Kaen's body that had just advanced to the 5-star aura knight level.

For the past two months he focused his entire concentration and energy on advancing and aura training without much break.

Though his speed of advancing was fast, that was only because of his past life experience and his control over mana.
