CHAPTER SEVENTY-THREE

Lord Hendrix's Point Of View.

Emily Clifford.

That was her name... I got to answer the name she gave to me, but I never got to see her and call her mama, or her name at the very least. I'm thankful to Dr. Cain, for at least honoring her and naming me as she requested.

Even though I feel happy that I've come to terms with reality and relieved my late mama and papa of the sins I made them commit in my head, it feels painful, knowing I faulted an innocent person for this long without sentiments whatsoever.

If I had known earlier, what could I have done differently? Where would I be at this moment? I'm sure I would be in her world, touring the landscape with my papa, or running the family business or anything they do in their world... Anything but be by the side of my lady, my lover and mate.

If I'm being honest, I don't regret finding out much later, for the sake of Natalie and my unborn child, I'm grateful.
