Chapter 557: Spank the Child

"William Cole, what was that noise?

Are you alright?" Ruth Dawn asked, concern evident in her voice.

William wore a serious expression, gazing at the blazing fire ahead. "I'm fine. There's been a car accident up ahead. I am going to check if anyone is injured."

"Okay, be careful." Ruth advised before hanging up the phone.

Paying his fare, William disembarked from the taxi to inspect the scene of the accident.

Two cars had collided on the bridge ahead; one had exploded into a deadly inferno, instantly killing the passengers within.

The other black car was halfway off the bridge, looking ready to plummet into the sea at any minute.

A bloodied middle-aged woman was screaming, "Help, please help me!"

"My daughter is still in the car, please save her!"

A passerby had managed to pull her from the vehicle, but the driver of the black car was dead at the scene.

The girl was still in the passenger's seat.
