Drained by the three snakes' incessant chatter, Atasha felt as if she was going to lose it. But then again hearing those words from Regalus, the girl wasn't even surprised anymore.

His eyes looked at her solemnly and uttered words with so much understanding. His low voice laced with an unusual air of maturity made Atasha feel a little comforted.

The girl looked at him meaningfully, her eyes softening. Atasha's lips curved into a grateful smile as she didn't expect that out of all her husbands, this usually brazen and noisy man would be the first one to perceive the sincerity in her words.

"Thank you, third husband. I never thought that you would—"
