A Stroll (1)

At some point Luna had noticed that Lily wasn't eating her Ice cream, and Lily had noticed her eyeing it. Lily offered it to her, and watched her devour it. The room grew quiet with only the sounds of spoon clicking against the ice cream bowls.

Luna finally broke the silence, as it seems it wasn't in her nature to stay silent "I'm curious after taking revenge against your father, are you going after the person who killed you next?" Aurora's ears piqued, when she heard that. She too was curious what Lily was going to do next.

Lily thought back to the man who killed her, and the things he did to her, and the fear she felt at the time. She knew she should have been furious about the whole ordeal, but she didn't feel anything towards the man, she pitied him instead.

And she also didn't necessarily feel the need to kill the man just to protect future victims from his clutches, so she too wondered what was the right move to make. 'Do people just need to take revenge against others even when they don't feel like it? Because all I can think of right now, is this growing hunger ever since I tasted that disgusting Ice cream.'

Lily thought about it, and realised she didn't care. She just shrugged her shoulders and went to her room. She took off her towel, and threw it on the floor. She noticed something that hadn't registered to her, all this time. The bruises that were caused by her father, were nowhere to be seen.

She didn't think nothing of it, she went to take out some grey sweat pant, a blue windbreaker jacket, and some white sneakers that were still in somewhat perfect shape. She wore them, then checked the time. It was 06:13 am.

She walked out of the room, and glanced towards the twins who were looking at her. She thought to try her new tamer ability.

'I'm going out for a stroll, and will return later. I won't order either of you to do anything, if you want to escape then do so. I am curious to know what will happen when we are too far apart. Anyway bye.'

Lily telepathically communicated, and walked out leaving Aurora surprised, and Luna thinking over about what she just said. Lily walked out the building, and it was chilly from last night's rain. The sky still had clouds overhead.

Lily felt non of the cold, it was more like a breeze to her. She began walking towards the direction of the park. She only saw people who were going to work, and some homeless people walking about, who upon seeing her eyes walked faster than they needed to.

She didn't think nothing of it until, she met a dog on the side of the road without an owner 'It's owner must have died, or it ran away, or the owner lost, due to stupidity, because this dog doesn't look like a stray to me. Maybe I should take it in?'

Lily approach the brown dog, and crouched to its level. The dog looked straight into the Lily's eyes, and it began trembling, and whimpering. She tried smiling at it in a reassuring way, and brought her hand to pat it.

It's survival instinct kicked in, and it ran away towards the road, were a truck happened to be moving in a fast speed. The truck drove over the dog, and kept on moving leaving the dog's corpse. Lily sighed, and continued her stroll towards the park.

She felt that something was wrong with her reaction, but she couldn't point it out. Without noticing, her mind had warped in a way, she didn't have any control over. She loved animals, she couldn't say the same for humans, but when it came to animals, she would always cry for them simply by being injured.

Now seeing one die, because of her, didn't pull any of her heart strings. She was damaged beyond repair. She reached the forest park, and went deeper since today, she decided not to go to work, she will go tomorrow.

Many shady dealings usually happen deeper within the forest park, due to how mysterious it still is. Many accomplished villains find it beneath them to hide like rats to do their business so it isn't that dangerous, of course if you pass by the danger zone, once crossed there's no going back.

Many heroes and villains had crossed the boundary years back during the introduction of the demons. They were warned not to cross the boundary within the forest, but humans are curious creatures, who also happened to be idiots, so they never listened.

They were cocky about their powerful abilities, but after crossing the line non ever returned, and till this day no one has ever dared cross the boundary, again.

When Lily was deep enough Inside the forest, and was surrounded by nothing but tress, Lily figured she should test her own body's capabilities in full capacity, begining with her strength. She was still in awe of how a weak punch managed to destroy her father so easily, not even his telekinesis ability was capable of stopping her.

She looked around, searching for the thickest tree she could find. While her other senses were enhanced beyond normal, only her eyes were somewhat the same. She believed they had some kind mutation that will help her down the line, but as of now, they were disappointing.

"The least they could have been was make me see further, not this crimson hue, which I'm still having difficulty getting used to.." She muttered, with a sigh. Her eyes moved along with her feet, and that's were she saw a very large tree a couple of feet away.

She walked towards the purple tree. When she reached it, she felt intimidated to the point of looking for other trees for her test. The tree was enormous, so huge, she couldn't tell were it ended, but when she looked at the other trees nearby, this one before her might as well be a baby, compared to them.

She sighed, and resigned to her fate. This time not blinded by anger, she closed her eyes, and breathing with a steady rhythm, as she recalled all those kung Fu movies, her father used to make her watch.

Her new instincts took over, as she made a stance. She widened her legs, one foot forward while the other stayed were it was. She brought her hands close to her chest, clenching them into a tight fist.

She calmed, and let her mind relax, while processing all the information it collected from her other senses. The sound of chirping birds, the wind blowing past her body, the smell of wood, and tree leaves, the smell of wet dirt.

She opened her eyes, and stared at the tree bark with coldness, as if staring at an enemy. She brought her right hand backward, before shooting it forward with all the power she could muster. The surrounding air seemed to bend to her will, attempting to tame the force she unleashed upon the tree.

Her initial blow made a shockwave through the tree and the surrounding area, upon impact. The tree bark absorbed some of the impact, but then it started to crack, and the splinters erupted outward, as Lily's fist drove through the tree severing it.

Due to the generated force the wind blew past her, as the tree began to fall. Lily hurriedly moved far back, and watched the very thick tree crush into other trees, stopping it's fall. She looked at her hand, and saw that there was not even a scratch, she didn't even feel the pain from such a force.

The interesting part was that, she felt what she just accomplished wasn't even half of her true strength. She looked back to the damage she had done, and she couldn't help but mutter to herself "I guess it's safe to say, I'm simply too strong to properly measure my undead strength."

Stay alert for updates, as interesting things are going to happen..
