27. Helping Paladin Danse

After that, Paladin Danse told some of his men to take guards and told Scribe Haylen to help Knight Rhys to get inside. Then they went inside the police station, while Sico followed Paladin Danse to the police station he saw that he arrived before Paladin Danse's men died so he kinda changed the plot a little bit.

When they got inside, Paladin Danse told Scribe Haylen to send Knight Rhys to his room to get some rest while he talked to Sico to ask for his help.

Paladin Danse: "Thanks again for your help, now I want to ask you to help me find a transmitter so that we can reach our base to call for backups."

Sico: "Well before I help you with finding the transmitter, who are you guys? And what did you do here on the Commonwealth?."

Paladin Danse: "We are from the Brotherhood Of Steel, our mission is to collect pre-war technology and preserve it so that the technology doesn't fall into the wrong hands."

Sico: "Oh so you guys from the Brotherhood? Before I came here, I saw a giant blimp with some plane around it claiming that they are the Brotherhood Of Steel."

Paladin Danse: "Really!? That's good news you shared with us but even though they came, our signal transmission could not reach them. So I want you to join me in getting the transmitter at Arcjet system, don't worry it won't just be the two of us I will bring two of my men too."

Sico: "Okay then Paladin, I will help you. So when do we start getting that transmitter? Today or tomorrow?."

Paladin Danse: "We will do it tomorrow, we need some rest after that horrendous attack from the ghouls. Oh and please accept this personal reward from me after you help us with the ghouls, it's my personal modification laser rifle."

Sico: "Thank you, Paladin."

Paladin: "You're welcome, you deserve it now let me take you to your temporary room to get some rest."

After that Paladin Danse brings Sico to one of the jail rooms and tells him that this is the only place available for him to get some rest. Sico told Paladin Danse that it was fine and said thank you for giving him some room to get some rest, Paladin Danse thanked Sico for his understanding and then took his leave because he had to lead his men to fix the defense outside.

When Paladin Danse leaves the jail room, Sico puts his stuff on the floor and then exits from the power of armor. After that Sico went out of the jail room to see Scribe Haylen, to see if she needed any help for Knight Rhys's injury.

When Sico saw Scribe Haylen attending to Knight Rhys's injury in his room, Sico went there to help her with the injury.

Sico: "Excuse me Scribe Haylen, do you need any help with that? I have some medical skills if you want to."

Scribe: "How do you know my name? Oh yes, the Paladin says our name while we are on the outside. Well I think that I don't need your help Sico, I can take care of it myself but I appreciate your kind gesture."

Sico: "Okay then Scribe Haylen, now if you need some help you can find me in the jail room."

Scribe Haylen: "Okay Sico thanks for your help."

After that Sico went back to his room, took some food from his bag, and ate it before he went to sleep. When he finishes eating his food, Sico makes sure that the bed can be used and then he goes to sleep.

The next day, Sico woke up from his sleep because he heard someone calling his name. When he opens his eyes, he says Paladin Danse who is fully suited and ready for their upcoming trip to Arcjet System.

The Paladin told Sico to prepare himself because they would go in 25 minutes, after telling Sico to prepare the Paladin went outside to meet his men. Sico who is already awake because of Paladin Danse, prepares himself for the upcoming trip by wearing the power armor and making sure that his weapon is fully functioning.

After that he made sure that he was ready for the mission, Sico went out of his room and then joined Paladin Danse who was leading the briefing for their upcoming mission.

Paladin Danse "Okay everyone, I will take Michael and John with me alongside the civilian to get the transmitter in the Arcjet System. I want the rest of you to stay here and make sure that our place is safe, and Sico I hope you are ready with the mission."

Sico: "Of course, I'm ready Paladin you can count on me."

Knight Rhys: "Are you sure that we can trust this civilian Paladin? Why don't you just take me to the mission and let the civilian stay in here."

Paladin Danse: "Rhys we can trust him, I know that many of you don't trust him but give him a chance plus Rhys I need you to stay here to lead the place so I will not bring you into the mission."

Knight Rhys: "Well if you say so, Paladin."

Paladin Danse: "Then the meeting is adjourned, let's go, Michael, John, and Sico we have some mission to do."

Sico, Michael, and John: "Yes Paladin!."

After that the four of them went out of the police station and went to the Arcjet System, on the way there Paladin Danse told Sico the real purpose of the Brotherhood Of Steel come to the Commonwealth.

He told Sico that they were because they wanted to find their missing recon team whom they had sent here before them to find more pre-war tech. When they arrive at the Commonwealth, they are under attack the second they arrive.

After Paladin Danse tells Sico the reason why they came here, they finally arrive at the Arcjet Systems. When they got inside Paladin Danse led the way with a determined stride, with the rest of them followed closely while scanning the dimly lit corridors.

Paladin Danse: "Keep your eyes peeled, guys. We're entering an unknown place here, and there could be enemies lurking anywhere."

They nodded, tightening their grip on their weapon. The ominous silence of the Arcjet System was occasionally broken by distant sounds, echoing through the metallic hallways.

Then they arrive at a room full of broken Protectron, but they don't see any trace of gunshot in the room.

Paladin Danse: "Stay alert, everyone. The Institute has already been here and destroyed these Protectrons, examined this room to see if there are any hidden threats."

They carefully examined the room, scanning for any hidden threats but there were no threats they could find.

Paladin Danse: "Seems the Institute is ahead of us and they want to get the transmitter too so we can't afford to underestimate any potential threats. Stay vigilant, and let's continue."

The group pressed forward deeper into the Arcjet Systems, the metallic echoes of their footsteps resonated through the dimly lit corridors. As they advanced, the distant hum of machinery became more pronounced, and a flickering light illuminated a large chamber up ahead.

Then when they arrived at the chamber, they found that the way to get the transmitter had been blocked by a closed door. So they had to find a way to open it, while they searched for it Sico found a terminal that could be the way to open the door.

So Sico hacked the terminal and found that there was an option to open the door, so he clicked on it and the door was open. But when the door is open, suddenly Paladin Danse tells them to be prepared for something.

Paladin Danse: "Prepare for contact. We're not alone here."

Suddenly, a group of synths emerged from the open door, their cold, mechanical eyes locking onto the intruders. The team braced for the confrontation, weapons at the ready.

Sico: "Synths! Get ready!"

Michael: "John watch out! On your flanks!."

A firefight ensued as bullets pierced through the air. The synths, efficient and deadly, engaged the team in a relentless pursuit. Paladin Danse gives orders, coordinating the groups to counter the incoming Synths.

The battle raged on, echoing through the Arcjet Systems. Despite the intensity, the team's tactical prowess prevailed, and they gradually gained ground against the synth threat.

Paladin Danse: "Clear the area! We need to secure that transmitter."

With the synths being neutralized, the group is regrouping to check if there's any injury. The looming presence of the room and the remnants of the synth ambush raised questions about the purpose of this facility.

Sico: "Looks like we've got more than just technical issues here."

Paladin Danse: "Agreed. Stay focused. We need to reach that transmitter before anything else happens."

As they moved closer to their objective, they found that the way for them to go upstairs had been destroyed and the elevator was off. So they had to go downstairs to see if there was any way to turn on the elevator.

While on the way to the lower ground, they saw some kind of rocket jet in the center of the room. When they arrived downstairs, they saw a room that could help them to turn on the elevator. So Paladin Danse asked Sico and John to investigate it, while he and Michael stayed outside.

When they got inside, Sico and John found that there was an off-power system that could help them turn on the elevator so they turned it on. When they turn it on, they want to head back outside but see through the glass that Paladin Danse and Michael are being ambushed by the Synths.

Sico saw there was a button to activate the rocket jet, he activated it in the hope that it could defeat the Synths. When the rocket jet activates, the rocket bursts a hot stream, engulfing the approaching synths. The intense flames forced the Synths to scatter, providing Paladin Danse and Michael a momentary reprieve.

After the rocket jet slowly stopped bursting, the Synths were neutralized and Paladin Danse with Michael survived because of their power armor. Then they regroup and enter the elevator to reach the upper floor where the transmitter is located.
