Names, Part Eight

"Um..." Lianna swallowed. "Zura... Did the guys checking people in not say anything about that amulet?" 

"No." Zura arched a brow. 

"They didn't scan it?" She asked.

Although Lianna's {Target Analysis} was a unique ability, people did have access to machines that could scan players and their items. Someone had to have caught this. 

"They did. They scanned all our equipment," Zura added, gesturing at the players filling the stadium. "But, I dunno... Isn't it just an amulet?" 

Lianna took a deep breath. 

[Okay,] she thought, trying to reach out to The Lover through her mind. [I know I can't tell anyone else about the quests I get. But, can I tell her this thing is rigged to blow up?] 

"..."

"Lianna? What's wrong?" Zura asked while Enverna remained paled. 

Lianna waited for a response.
