Bai Shanbao "shushed" her and signaled her not to disturb Bai Erlang.
Manbao glanced back at Bai Erlang, who was buried in a trunk, and walked over to the windowsill, curiously asking, "Why didn't you use the door instead of climbing through the window?"
Bai Shanbao replied solemnly, "You didn't call for me, did you?"
Manbao said, "But this is your room, you come back to your own room without us having to call you."
Bai Shanbao paused, then he belatedly realized, oh, Bai Erlang had moved into his room today; this was his room indeed.
Bai Shanbao glanced at Manbao, turned around to climb out, and then entered from the door with his hands behind his back, circling around the screen to come in.
Manbao said, "You could have just jumped down; why did you bother climbing out and then coming through the door again?"
"Because he's silly," Bai Erlang finally found the book he was looking for and was standing gloomily behind the two of them.
