"Hurry up Brat !" The shouts of Gamabunta rang through out the entire forest.

Out of fourty clones, only two remained. They were giving their all to restrain the chakra of one tails by their chakra chains. In case of eight tails, he was not voluntarily attacking anyone. He was just trying to lessen his own pain that's why Naruto was easily able to subdue him. Although it was not that easy. Even going at his hundred percent, Naruto could barely hold him down. It was not easy at all, but it was simple. 'The pyramid Tenten created was not only suppressing chakra, but also absorbing it. All my shadow clones inside the pyramid vanished and yet not a single piece of memories came back.' Naruto just glanced to the side a little. He couldn't see Tenten anymore. A dark sphere covering both her and eight tails. He shook his head. He should be worried about himself.

Unlike eight tails, one tails is made of sand. So restraining chakra at one place of it's body didn't reduced his fighting capacity by much. Gamabunta was playing the main role by pinning down the biju. And Naruto was restraining his chakra and preventing him from attacking Gamabunta and himself. But now is the main part. He has to apply the seal on Gara.

But the problem is they are locked in places now. Tenten didn't have time, So she had made him a five elemental seal, that she learnt from Jiraya. Although Naruto was close to a seal master, but Naruto was not good enough yet, to learn five elemental seal . This seal was written on a fuinjutsu paper by Tenten. But it was only a one time use. He was not about to entrust a shadow clone with an important task like that. But what could he even do in such a situation ?

"Wake up that damn brat !"

Gamabunta roared.

" Shukaku can't stay awake once the host is awake."

'Shit ! I totally forgot that !' Naruto exclaimed in his mind.

So to wake up gara he created another chakra chain. But this one had a sledgehammer attached to it's end.

"Nnnnn" Shukaku's mouth was sealed with chains. So the only thing he could do is struggle and see as Naruto sent his weapon to wake up Gara.

With a loud bang it hit Gara and almost lifted him from Shukaku's body.

"Rise and shine !"

Gara woke up and Shukaku started to crumble. But Something unexpected happened. Suddenly instead of falling Gara, controlled his sand and sent a massive sand blade towards Gamabunta.

"What the !" Naruto was surprised. He was trying to supress Shukaku's chakra. So there wasn't a single chain around Gara. Naruto expected him to fall down unconscious.

'Gara was summoned ! Yes ! He was summoned in the middle of the village at top condition and then he fall asleep ! There was nothing that he did. So he must be in top condition !'

"Boss ! Dodge !"

"You don't need to tell me brat !"

Quickly unsealing his bow staff in one hand, Naruto created a adementaite chakra staff in his other hand. He has been practicing this for a long time now.

Gamabunta wasn't able to dodge completely from the attack. It left a wound in his left hind leg. So he puffed away !

"Uzumaki Naruto ! I will have your blood ! You made mother go away !" Gara screamed bloody murder as soon as Gamabunta vanished.

"Oh boy ! It seems I have to do it in the old fashioned way."

Naruto was excited. He too wanted to test himself against Gara. And he has yet to put the seal on him. Both of them rushed towards each other in the forest. Naruto was excited for another minor reason as well.

On the last day of his training, he sparred with Tenten. But it was not your ordinary spar. It was the spar when he came the closest to defeat her. Naruto had taken inspiration from spiderman and the 3d manuver gears from AOT. He used his chains to move freely and made distance against Tenten's kunais. And in a forest with tall trees , it became obvious that Naruto could use the terain better than Tenten. Every time Naruto noticed a marker he moved away from it using his chains.

It was funny.

Sure, he didn't have experience in it. But because the chains felt like the extents of his own body, he was able to control them freely.

Manuvering in the air is just the matter of physics. And he might not be the best student in the class, but atleast he was attentive. And it seemed that those lectures came very handy in real life. But Tenten hadn't reached the rank of a tokubotsu jonin solely relying on a single jutsu. Her shambles seal was special. And the more deadly thing about that seal is that she can apply it just a single touch of chakra in any surface. Sure, unlike the ink marks there is a time limit after which they will fade away. Hirashin was deadlier in that aspect. Once marked it, never disappears. But hirashin is not versatile as shambles. And with her high IQ, Tenten was able to use it effectively in battles.

She targeted the roots of my manuverability. The trees using her shadow clones. Due to using it for first time Naruto didn't used his shadow clones. Just not to colide with himself. And Tenten used it as an advantage. One calculated shot, and he was down to the earth.

But Gara didn't possess such analytical mind. So Naruto was easily dodging his sand weapons while counterattacking with his own . It was a surprise too. Gara never used sand weapons like swords or lances in the chunin exams in canon. But he was not only using them but also was staying in the air on his sand platform. But Naruto wasn't a brawler this time either. Sneaking his chain under the floating sand platform, Naruto wrapped it around Gara's anchle, while his shadow clone was distracting Gara. As soon as the chain was completely coiled, he tightened his hold, sealing his chakra off. And when the hold was tight enough Naruto yanked him away from the sand platform slamming him on to the ground.

Wind got knocked out of Gara. His sand armour broke. He coughed up blood. Pain and fear replaced the madness in his eyes.

"Don't ! Don't come near me! Stay away!"

Naruto paused in his tracks.

"How... how are you stronger than me ! I won't let you erase my existence !"

"I am not here to erase your existence."

"How ? How are you stronger than me ?"

"I really wanted to be friends with you. You know."

"..."

"We are the same. We became the weapons for our village the moment we were born without our wish. But that doesn't mean our existence is solely for destruction."

"...What - what do you mean ?"

"You shouldn't care about what others says about you. All you need is one person. One person you want to protect. And that will be enough. You can show everyone else your middle finger. Only after they understand your importance, they will come after you."

"One person, I want to protect..."

"One person you love. I don't care about this village. But there are a few people whom I love. So to protect them you can become strong too. Why don't you start from your siblings ? Atleast they care for you ?"

Naruto glanced at the tree nearby. And two figures jumped down.

They were Temari and Kankuro. As they readied their weapons to fight, Gara stopped them.

"Temari, Kankuro, let's go ! Our fight is over !"
